It's your special day today.
You thought to yourself, smiling lazily at the sleeping figure next to you.
As he shifted in his sleep, his bangs ( kai would look so good with bangs like seulgi's in peek a boo tbh ) fell to the front of his face, blocking parts of his facial features as you picked them up and tucked the loose strands behind his ear.
"Happy birthday. " you breathed out, pecking his forehead even though you knew he was asleep.
Just when you were going to to head out of the room to prepare breakfast, a hand grabbed your wrist and pulled you down onto the bed, preventing you from going anywhere.
"Thank you. " your husband cooed, pecking your cheek.
"You weren't asleep?? " you slapped Kai's chest gently but firmly.
Kai didn't say anything but only smiled cheekily at you.
You chuckled, getting off the bed.
"Go wash up, birthday boy. " you nagged, trying to get your lazy boyfriend off the bed.
"No... it's my birthday today, let me stay in bed ~ " he pouted, wriggling himself out of your grasp and disappearing into the bed sheets.
"Fine, but get up soon, okay? " you giggled at his childish behaviour.
"No... "
"What now? "
"Stay in bed with me. " he poked his head out from the bed sheet, his eyes turning into the shape of cresent moons, in which you could tell he was smiling from under the covers.
"But I have to prepare our breakfast. "
"But it's my birthday!! " he whined playfully.
"Fine, fine. " a smile tugged at your lips as you made your way towards the bed, making yourself comfortable inside the covers next to him after.
"I love you, (y/n). " he mumbled, smiling goofily with his eyes closed.
"Nado~ "
