Chapter 6

    *She just don't know*

Two days later:

                  Day time: Afternoon

Me and aunt Tammy sat on the couch side by side while she stroked her hands in my soft long hair. We were watching a movie enjoying our time together which I know would eventually come to a end, And it did. Jasmine came strutting in the living room like she was on America's Next Top Model and stood in front the TV with her arm folded across her chest.

"Come on Jasmine watch out" aunt Tammy said as she tried to look passed her at the TV.
"Why you always spending time with her and not me"? Jasmine asked sounding so pathetic as she pouted.
I didn't say anything instead I just stared at her like she was crazy.
"That's not true you choose to stay cooped up in ya room and I'm not gonna beg you Jasmine" aunt Tammy said waving for Jasmine to step aside.
She looked at me with her mouth twisted up "Does this mean your gonna go get a job and move out now that your out of school"?
I lowered my eyes at her and stood to my feet, now was the time I was ready to tear her ass up. Aunt Tammy must have seen the fire in my eyes cause she stopped me right in my traces.
"Tiera sweety can you run to the store for me need some milk and let me have a word with miss. Jasmine here" Tammy asked never taking her eyes off Jasmine.
"Sure" I said grabbing my Jay's putting them on and walking out the door.

I headed up the street to the corner store pissed as hell. This bitch had been testing since I stepped foot in their door years ago. Here we should have been close cousins, but instead we were always at each other's throats. Jasmine had a jealousy problem and for what I couldn't understand. Her parents gave her attention as well, but she still couldn't get over the fact that Aunt Tammy loved me too. I loved my aunt, but I wanted to be out that house just as bad as Jasmine wanted me to be.  All I could do is pray that better days would come because I didn't know how much more of Jasmine and Sam's shit I could take. I let out a breath of air as I walked inside the corner store to get what my aunt asked me to get.

              King

I was standing on my block rapping it up with my boy Dope. That nigga was my right hand and it's been that way for years he was the only nigga I trusted period. Fuck a bitch, fuck a nigga Dope was the nigga that rocked with me since day one.

"So what happened with that little bitch"? Dope asked.
"Man you know what happened I fucked shawdy... I been fucking on shawdy, but she not for me man. She's a whole smut then she be wanting me to go raw" I vented to him about Lexis. Lexis wanted to be my girl so bad, but I couldn't go there with her like that. The first day I met her ass she let me fuck and that farther let me know to keep her as one of little hoes. 
"And. What you tell her"? Dope questioned with a frown.
"I tell her ass fuck no she better go to her nigga for all that. On some real shit I would never wife shawdy. I mean she cute and all, but first of all she got a whole nigga she been with for a while that she thought I aint know about plus I told you I fucked shawdy with no problem at all" I admitted.

Dope nodded his head and gave me his import on the situation. We knew each other like the back of our hands might as well say we brothers. Me and Dope basically ran these streets day in and day out. We didn't have to stand on theses corners and sell shit we had niggas for all that, we just so happened to be out here at this time checking up on shit and vibing with my young niggas.
I was glad I was out here once I laid my eyes on this baddie coming down the street. Better yet this beauty cause that's what she was in my eyes by far. She had a nigga ears stuffed from hearing Dope talk  because her face and body had my full attention.

"How you doing"? I said to her as she walked pass me and dope.
"Hey" she said softly walking in the store.
I gave Dope that look and he nodded his head. That's all I needed to see, I entered the corner store and looked around until I found her in the back standing in front the milk refrigerator.
"Are you following me"? She asked not even looking back at me. I chuckled at her comment as I leaned up against the chip rack.
"Maybe... Your beautiful I couldn't help it" I said honestly.
She turned to face me and I got a full glance at her beauty, it made me smile.
"I'm King" I said extending my hand.
She smiled "Shontiera ... Tiera for short" she said shaking my hand.
"How old are you"? I asked. I wasn't tryna go to jail neither.
She giggled showing off her pearly white teeth "I'm ready to be 18 in a few days".
"Good... I was ready to say" I said touching my chest all dramaticallu.
"You"?
I licked my lips and stared in her eyes "19, I'll be 20 soon".
We walked up to the counter and me being the half gentleman I was cause I wasn't no sucka ass nigga paid for her stuff and we walked out the store where I introduced her to Dope.
"Nice to meet you Dope" she said smiling.
Dope chuckled while nodding his head at me giving me his approval opinion "Oh shit and she got manners bruh keep her". We all laughed.
"Yeah it was nice to meet you too and my boy King is a good nigga forreal" Dope said, throwing that out there.
She laughed. "So where you headed"? I asked.
"Down there to the apartments" she said in the sweetest voice as she pointed behind her.
"Oh, you stay with ya nigga"? I asked taking a step closer to her as I looked her up from head to toe.
She shook her head no and laughed "No I live with my aunt".
"Oh...Do you got a nigga"? I asked again.
"If I didn't I would be standing her still talking to you" she said laughing again.
I chuckled... Damn she was so gorgeous "Good... Cause I was bout to go tell ya nigga that I just stole his girl". We all laughed again.
"Come on I'll walk you home Dope hold it down I'll be back" I said as we both walked away.
While we walked, we talked and I got to know a little more about her and she got to know more about me. I looked down at my phone and Realized we had been talking for almost a hour, time had went by so fast. We exchanged numbers and even though I didn't want to I had to let shawdy go, I gave her a hug and walked back down the block after making sure she got in her place safe. I don't know what was up with little baby, but just that quick she had a nigga nose wide open. I liked it though because I could see myself actually getting to know her more for her and not for her body.

Soon as I walked in the house I closed the door and pressed my back up against it. My heart was skipping beats and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Flashbacks kept popping in my head of King, how nice he was and how good he looked. His sexy ass had me head over heels that fast. I opened my eyes to see my aunt sitting up on the couch staring at me with a smile on her face.

"What's with you"? She asked. I couldn't answer because my mind was too cloudy.
"Child I know that look from anywhere... Thats the look of love" said aunt Tammy as she giggled.
I laughed "No auntie it's not".
"You ain't fooling nobody child... I know more than you think. And baby it's nothing wrong with it, your beautiful baby".
I shook my head and looked down at my feet, embaressed that she had even caught me like this. " I'm proud of you baby, and if nobody told you that Imma tell you, so baby find that love in your heart and release it. Don't hold on it, and if that boy just made you feel like this... than baby let go of that hurt and find love" Aunt Tammy spoke to me. My eyes met hers and at that moment I understood exactly what she was trying to tell me.

I leaned up off the door and started blushing... It couldn't be love at first sight that shit ain't never happened to me.
