Today was Lexis baby shower and it started at 3:00. She was having it down at the park which was a good idea because the weather was gonna be sunny and nice today. I put on my short pink dress  put on my sandals, added alittle makeup and put my hair up into a messy bun Leaving alittle baby hair out. I went downstairs thinking King would be down there waiting for me but he wasn't.

"Baby come on we gonna be late" I yelled to the top of the steps.
Minutes later he came down looking good as shit in a red and white polo shirt, some black jeans and his Black and red Jay's on. He pulled his Snapback on his head and his Jewelry was shining of course.
"Is you ready yet"? I asked with my hand on my hip.
"Babymom don't rush me for this trick ass wh-" he said but I cut him off. I already knew what was ready to leave his mouth about Lexis.
"Be nice today please" I said as we headed out the door.

15 minutes later

We pulled up to the park to see cars parked everywhere. We got out and walked down the hill, there were pink and purple balloons everywhere.Whoever decorated did their thing I loved it. There were about 10 tables set up with pink table cloths and little plastic baby carriages on them.Lexis table had baby decorations all over it with two balloons on the chair. In front of her table was all types of food fried chicken, shrimp and all types of cold salads.There was atleast 40 people there for her,I looked around through and sure enough I found her standing by some older woman with short curls.
Lexis looked so beautiful, she wore a short red little tutu  dress with a purple ribbon rapped around her that showed her very much pregnant belly. She glanced over at me and smiled before excusing herself from the older woman and heading over to us.

"Hey babe" she said as we both hugged.
"Hey honey you look beautiful". We released the hug as she looked over at King and smiled "Hey King" she said Hugging him although he didn't pudge on bit to hug her back.
Lexis stepped back and smiled as she rubbed her belly "It's cool... I'm glad you came along... It's ya right to be here to". She walked away.
I looked at him and he seemed so tensed and uncomfortable so I grabbed his hand "Baby loosing up... It's good for you so you can get prepared for our little shower" I said.
"Yeah I guess so" he said looking around.

Something wasn't right with King, he really felt uncomfortable being here around these people... Around Lexis. Lexis waved us over to her table where her mother and the older woman she was talking to where seated. King hesitated at first but decided to follow me. We took our seats at Lexis's table with all eyes on us.

"Awe are you expecting also"? The older woman asked me.
I nodded my head with a smile "Yes Ma'ma I am".
She grinned "Awe y'all look like a sweet couple congratulations" the older woman said referring to me and king who was sitting directly next to me.
"Thanks" he said leaning back in his chair. Lexis started laughing and mumbled something to herself that caused me to look up at her weirdly.
"So King are you ready for this boy y'all having"? Lexis asked. I looked at king with a smile Wait for his response.

He simply nodded his head and gave Lexis a cold stare. Lexis chuckled "You did want a girl"?
King shook his head looking down before he met eyes with Lexis again "It didn't matter  what it was I would still be happy long as my baby's healthy".
The older woman and Lexis's mother agreed with him as they both forked at their plates.
"Want anymore... Like maybe a little girl"? Lexis asked. King shoved his shoulders and gave Lexis a blank stare.

I was confused of why he was acting like this towards her I told him to be cool but he was starting to piss me off because he was giving her the cold shoulder for no reason. "So Lexis you almost ready for the big day I know you can't wait to hold her and kiss her little face"? I asked.
Lexis looked at me and smiled "Of course I am girl that Moment is gonna be so special to me".
I nodded as I agreed, King mumbled something and I gently elbowed him while nobody was watching, he was really bugging.

"I just wish her father was apart of her life you know... We were pose to be together get married and Everything but here I am alone with a baby that he doesn't even want" Lexis said looking at me and King.
"It's okay though Lexis I told you I will always have ya back" I said reaching for her hand until she snatched back with her eyes still on King.
"You can't have my back on everything Tiera... As a matter fact you could never feel the pain that I feel carrying a child by someone who doesn't want it... At least king didn't do that to you" Lexis said standing up and walking away.

This was becoming an awkward moment and I felt as though Lexis was bout to start up at any moment... Being messy as always here this was pose to be ya special day but you sitting here ready to get all emotional.
"Don't pay her no mind she will be just fine" the older woman said chewing her food.
I nodded my head.
"Babe I'll be back I gotta use the bathroom" King said Standing up excusing himself from the table.

The minute he disappeared the older woman started asking me relationships questions... Oh boy here we go.

Soon as I seen Lexis disappear in the bathroom area I got up and followed her. This bitch really got me fucked up if she thinks I'ma let her ruin what me and Tiera got. Soon as I bent the corner she was coming out the bathroom, she smiled as she slow walked towards me, but inside I was burning up.

"Oh you came to find me"? She said as she walked up to me.
I gently pushed her up against the wall and looked her dead in her face "Lexis stop playing these games yo... Im not doing this shit with you at all".
She chuckled "King you love me I know you do" she said in a seductively way.
I slapped my hand against the wall next to her "Nah I don't I love Tiera stop this messy shit".

"You can't love her when you have a daughter by me" she said.
"Yeah and that was a mistake" I said.
"No it wasn't you and I weren't a mistake" she raised her voice alittle while poking me in my chest.
"Mane fuck this... Lexis I'm not doing this with ya ol' stupid ass you do this shit by yaself" I said bout to walk away.

She grabbed me back but I snatched back and looked at her like she was crazy.
"Did you tell her yet"? Lexis asked.
"Nope... Not til I know it's mine" I barked at her.
She laughed "Be with me king".

"Lexis.... Fuck no" I said with a mean mug on my face.
A sneaky smile appeared on her face "Ok... Well I'll go tell her all about me" she said walking off fast.
I ran my hands down my face before running after Lexis to stop her but before I could she was back in the front where everyone was storming over to Tiera.
