Chapter 6- The Candy Run

      Colton and his band of misfits roll up to us in the little grassy area in the center of the complex. Aimee tries to start drama but its not really working. I'm standing on the brick wall, all Colton's focus is on me, and all I can do is stand there awkwardly! Damn my nerdy awkwardness! Two of the complex boys hear us outside and emerge from their video games, they come over to me and ask me whats going on. I say nothing just Aimee being Aimee. They go back inside. Sloane's bestest guy friend, more like a brother, comes over to me and picks my up by my legs and swings me around, giving me what he calls a "Helicopter" When he puts me down he holds me close, and pretty much just slides me down his body. We talk and laugh a little, he gives me a hug and goes inside. I look over and Coltons face is stone cold. He did not like what he just saw. He starts biking away, not a glance my way, and his friends follow. I'm relieved but at the same  time, I feel terrible.

       The rest of us continue to hang out, until all of us are eventually inside. Sloane, Aimee, And I head to Sloane's basement to watch the only movies Sloane has, the Twilight Saga, barf. We watch for a while when we hear a tapping at the basement window, it's Sloane's boyfriend and his friend, and they are drunk as hell," What the hell!" I whisper hoarsley," We toookk shotssss of 100% VODKA!" Ryder shouts and falls over.

"God Dammint Ryder! Shush or we'll get in trouble!" I say," Okeeeee heheheheheeeeee," He was weird when he was drunk, as if he wasn't weird enough when he wasn't," Can we come innnnn?" Ryder asks.

"No Ryder." I say, but of course, being the total softy I am, he convinces me to let them in. We all lose track of time being retarded down there, and we send them stumbling off home at 4 30.

       I go to bed at around 7 30, getting up at 8. Sloane, Aimee, and I stumble outside in our tiredness and walk to the corner store to get some coffee. I'm cautious entering the store, hoping you-know-who isn't there. I sigh a sigh of relief when we find the store empty of other customers. We spent the rest of the day lounging around in the heat.

       Night officially comes and everyone else sits at the complex's playground. Everyone decides they want candy. So everyone pitches in and I get voted out to go get the candy, jerks. I'm walking down this dark scary street, my small town is small enough we don't have alot of street lights, but anyways, I'm almost there when I'm pushed against a wall and held there," Please don't hurt me!" I say. I hear a familiar chuckle behind me," I'm not going to hurt you baby doll," Colton says. I sigh in relief but I tense myself up again, not wanting Colton to see I was relieved by his presence. He turns me around, still pinning me against the wall with his body. He leans in close to my face and smirks. I almost made a noise in pleasure, but caught and stopped myself. I know he sensed it because he smirked again. He leans in close and kisses my neck, moving up towards my ear. I put my hands on his chest and I can feel his abs through his shirt.

       He pulls away and goes in for a kiss but stops just before, teasing my lips with his. I want so badly for him to just kiss me right now, the little bugger is teasing me! He kisses near my ear again," Don't ever let me see you with another guy like that again," He teases my lips again, so close, I want it so badly, for him to just kiss me right there," S..ssto" I attempt to say. I need him to stop, this is wrong, girlfriend! He has a girlfriend!. He chuckles again, and without saying another word, he walks off into the night.
