Colton's POV (HAHA SURPRISSSE!)

The kiss was amazing. I haven't felt like that with anyone. But I have a girlfriend. Gah! Why can't this be more simple! I was with my  girlfriend, Kaytie, and thats what mattered. Thoughts swirled in the back of my mind about Deidre, I knew she was really the one I wanted to be with, not Kaytie.

I walked quickly down the hallway and out the door, I needed air. I walked off campus, starting off towards the local grocery store. I stopped and grabbed a Dr. Pepper, my go to drink. I sat down and Kaytie and I's usual bench. I sat there for an hour.. maybe two.. doesn't matter. Either way, Kaytie came up to me and sat on my lap, wrapping her arms around my neck and kissing me,"Heyy honeyyy!" She said in the god awful voice, it was really high and annoying, but I dealt with it.

"Hey baby, how was your day?" I replied kissing her again, faking the passion I put into it," Awfullll! There was so much drama again today! Trinity said that Meg said that Kenna said my hair was frizzy! Like, how dare she OMG!" Kaytie droned on. I lost interest and Deidre popped into my mind again, our wonderful kiss.. I know she liked it, I just have to get her to give in.."Hellooooo! are you even listening to me! God sometimes you are so inconsiderate.." And before she can continue to rant her phone rings, thank god. Kaytie ran off  to answer her precious phone, and I took the opportunity to leave.

I walked for a while, no thoughts, no place I was intending to go, nothing. I walked past the drug store and I saw a flyer, it was for a ranch, camping, horesback riding, and more, opening weekend this coming long weekend. Huh. I take one of the cards.

I start walking home, when I get there, I hand the card to my parents, I need to get away for a while, think. And this is the perfect opportunity! My parents agree it would be nice to get away, yes! They tell me we'll go next weekend, the long weekend.

Deidre's POV

I finally gain sense of reality and walk out of the empty detention room. What the hell was that! Boys.. I walk out of the school and start walking home, I receive a text from my Dad,

From: Dad

We are heading out to the ranch this weekend to help them with opening weekend.

I replied that I would come, it would be nice to get away, I couldn't wait. 160 acres of pure bliss. And I loved my family up there so much! I couldn't wait to see them!

The week flew by without incident, Jaden seemed especially distant, did I do  something wrong..? What am I talking about.. I shouldn't care, I don't care!

The long weekend came faster than I thought, I was so relieved. My Dad and I left home around 5, the drive up was beautiful, the sun was just setting, and soon turned to night. The stars were beautiful, no city lights disrupting their shining. It was nice. I rolled down my window and let in the warm breeze.

I awake to my Dad parking next to the large house. We're here! I run inside to greet everybody and run into my Aunt," Hi Annie! Got any bookings for the opening weekend of the campsite yet?" I asked," yes in fact, 3 of the 5 available sites are booked!"

"Thats awesome!" I exclaimed, we talk a little more and I take my stuff upstairs, I get the guest bedroom all to myself every time we come up. I go outside to find my Grandpa and Uncle working on clearing out some trees. My Grandpa sees me and points at the truck and points where he wants me to go, he's clearly a man of many words. Without saying anything I get in the truck and drive the wood in the back to the burn pile, I dump it and head back, looking to my left I see the campers, wait.. is that... it can't be! No, I'm being silly and paranoid, I don't know any of these people. I park the truck and run inside.

Colton's POV

The drive up was stunning. Lots of lage beautiful trees, the sun was out, clear blue skies. We even saw some wildlife. I think I might like it out here. We'll have to come back.

We pull into our camping spot and get set up. The spots are private, in the trees, over looking a big green field. I definitely like it out here. But even with my parents planning all this activity and all the excitement, beauty, and tranquility, I only have one thing on my mind, Deidre, I can see her now, driving a big red truck down the road, big pile of wood in the  back. Oh my god! Deidre's driving down the road in a big red truck with a pile of wood in the back! That is her isn't it? I think it is!

My weekend just got a little more interesting.
