Chapter 9, part 2- Alone Together

Colton's POV

      We headed down the road and turned down a beautiful path leading down into what looked like a meadow, with more trails leading off in all directions. This place was amazing, it was so green and lucious, filled with little creatures and beautiful, clear skies. There were a few clouds in the sky today, but all I could focus on was Deidre. She looked amazing, I can't believe I hadn't noticed before. She was wearing an orange shirt with a logo for some bike riding even or something, she had it tied up with a ponytail elastic so you could see just above her belly button when she stood up, and these little cute shortshorts that showed not to much, but just the right amount of skin.... her skin.. it looked so soft, perfectly tan, god she was beautiful. I dont think she realized it though. She seems confident but you can tell she has some self conciousness in there. 

      Deidre was just a little ahead of me, obviously, she knew where we were going. We trailed off into this very tight path, I had to ride right behind her. After maybe 10 minutes it opened up into this almost fairytale like little area. The grass was unbelievably green and soft looking, the trees so green and full, you couldn't see through them. It was an area meant for maybe 5-7 people not even. It was cozy. There was a river off to the right side, it was small, perfect for this area. There was a horse post set up next to it, we got off our horses and tied them up, Deidre brought out a bag.

"Why'd we stop?" I ask, I already knew, I just wanted her to tell me," Well, it's almost 1 30, it's lunch time genius." She said, kind of coldly. I think she was upset about what happened with the kiss. I know it was wrong of me to walk out but the kiss only happened because I couldn't help myself any longer. I got freaked out.

Deidre started setting up our lunch at this little picnic table, also near the river, that I hadn't noticed before," Are you upset Deidre?" I ask, she stops and stands there for a minute, what felt like an eternity if you ask me.

      " What the hell kind of question is that!" She says hoarsly." Of course I'm fucking upset Colton, you tease me, then drag me into a room, kiss me, and leave! You don't do that to someone, do you not think I'll eventually get sick of these games, YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND. I'm not going to make you chose between me and her because from what I have been told you are a player and I don't get involved with them, I've never been the quickie kind of girl, its long lasting or its nothing now sit your ass down and eat your lunch." She finally finishes her rant and collapses onto the tables bench seat, put her hands in her head and rubbing her temples. I knew she was frustrated but I was confused, so was she I assume. She turned around and started eating. I walk around and sit across from her," I'm sorry," I say.

      "That's it. You're sorry?" She barely squeaks out," Yes I'm sorry," I get up and sit next to her, she turns to look into my eyes as I continue," It was very wrong of me to walk out but I got freaked out. I kissed you because I couldn't help myself any longer, I like you, alot actually, and I knew it was wrong of me to kiss you in the first place and I have a girlfriend, and if I could I would choose you, but its not that simple right now. I need you to be patient.." She interuppts me right there," I'm the least patient person in the world." She says, straight faced.

      I don't even continue, I kiss her right then and there, no suspense or tricks or anything, just a kiss. A magical wonderful kiss. It was still wrong but like I said before, I can't help myself. Her lips are soft and tender, I'm careful when kissing her, our first kiss was her first kiss, ever. She puts her arms around my neck to deepen the kiss, I respond. She pulls away and turns it into a hug, I hold on tight. I refuse to let go, not this time.

     I might have apologized but that didn't mean I was any less mad at him. I liked him, sure, he was hot and gave my good social status, and great makeout sessions, but he could be so inconsiderate sometimes. Whatever. 

      I walked down to the skate park, which is right across from our school, where all the hotties hang out. I walked up and sat down alone, looking alone so one of them would come up and talk to me. It didn't take too long.  A nice looking guy walked over to me, he was wearing a blue shirt that was tight in all the right spots, I could almost see his abs through the fabric. Over it he had a black sweater, which was alos tight in all the right spots. He had sick orange and blue skater shoes on, just my type," Heyyy darling, you okay? You're looking a little down, I can fix that," he winks, gah another cheesy one. Oh well, he was hot," I guess, You know that would make me feel better?" I bat my lashes at him," Whats that sweetcheeks?" He says smoothly. I get up and take his hands, walking into a trail that leads into the bush and to a little spot next to the creek that runs by our school. I sit him down on the little broken down pathetic attempt at a table and kiss him, standing in between is legs. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me in closer to him, but stops," A hot thing like you must have a boyfriend?" he asks," Nope, unfortunately I don't really get attention from guys" I flat out lie, looking down for dramatic affect. God, I loved toying with guys' feelings, They were so gullible! I kiss him again.

      I get bored eventually and pull away,"What's wrong baby?" He asks, whimpering that I pulled away," I'm bored, and I do have a boyfriend, I'm using him just like I used you,"
