Deidre's POV

It had been a month since Jaden had moved in with us. It was still kind of awkward, and besides the occasional wink or foot kick under the table at dinner, we avoided pretty well. Mostly because  I wouldn't come out of my room.

"DEIDRE! YOUR BROTHER AND I ARE LEAVING FOR HIS DRIVING CLASS, BE BACK AT 11 TONIGHT!" My Mother yelled from downstairs.

"Okay! Have Fun!" I yelled over the side. We lived in an apartment which only had two real bedrooms, so I got the loft as my bedroom, it over looked the living room. It was good for me, It had lots of natural light and I could watch tv from up in my room. And since there was only two rooms, Jaden stayed with my brother in his room.

SLAM........................CLICKCLICK

That was my signal she was really gone. I got out of my desk chair quietly as I could so I wouldn't alert Colton I was actually coming downstairs. But it defied me and squeak and creaked louder than it had before.. or maybe that was just me. I cursed in my head and tip toed down my stairs. I peaked around the corner, looking for any sign of movement. All clear, I make a move for the kitchen and of course, I stub my toe loudly on the couch.

"FUUUU.......DGE NUGGETS!" I quickly corrected myself, I have been trying to not to swear. Crap.. he probably heard that, I put my head in my hands, leaning over ther couch top.

"Nice save.." I hear softly behind me. I look up to see those bright blue eyes staring at me, along with that cute cocky grin he seems to favour to wear on his face. My eyes roam over his face, from his jet black quiffed hair, to his eyes that were staring intently back at me. I sigh and put my head back in my hands.

"Oh come on darling it couldn't of hurt that bad." He says sweetly. He puts his hands around my waist and lifts my upper body up so I'm standing straight, looking me in the eye," Well?"

"Uhh.. Uhmm no, I'm just.. tired and..stuff.." I stumble. And stuff? God.. I really  do like making myself look dumb.

"Well maybe.. you need to lay down?" He responds softly, a hint of amusement flashing through his eyes, inching his face closer to mine,"I'm fine really," I barely get out,

"I'm serious. Come lay down." He sits me down on the couch, spinning on his heel and walking in the kitchen. I hear him banging around. He walks back in non-chalantly with some super cookie dough ice cream and chocolate milk... dang it. How did he know me so well!

He walks over to the DVD's on the shelf and picks up the only movie in the world that can make me cry... Spirit: Stallion on the Cimmaron. This kid sometimes...

Not even half way through the movie and tears are welling up, we are just at the part where Spirit is taken by the cowboys.. gets me every time. Jaden is laying behind me, arm wrapped lazily around my waist, and when he hears me sniffle, he wraps his arm around me tighter, nuzzling his face in my neck. No making fun of me like I thought he would. I look at the clock, not even 9 yet.. I still had hours alone with this kid, he better not get any ideas.

Jaden's POV

Her hair smells amazing, I know, weird thing to think about. But it was soft, light, and smelled of green apples. Never seen that before. I heard a slight sniffle, I knew she would cry at this movie, thats why I picked it, It would cause more cuddling. I wrap my arm tighter around her and nuzzle my face in her neck for comfort. I can feel her respond by pressing closer.
