    lessons from the gods

    don't look up for too long.
    
                              
    i know they're beautiful 
    
                              
    but they'll chase the blood
    
                              
    away from your head
    
                              
    and into your toes
    
                              
    so the world goes black and you
    
                              
    fall.
    
                              
    maybe they don't like 
    
                              
    being stared at by mortals.
