so irma happened..luckily my family and our belongings stayed safe, but it was scary! on the bright side school was canceled about 6 days but i had 2 football games and so much work to catch up on ugh

You wake up before everyone else. You try to go back to sleep, but unfortunately, you can't. You grab your phone off the bedside table and check the time, 5:34. Dan is sprawled out on his stomach, leaving you barely any room on the bed so you quietly get up and decide to explore the hotel. You put your hair into a bun and put on some concealer so you look like less of a zombie. You grab your glasses (if you wear them), your wallet, and room key before quietly opening the door.

The hotel is relatively quiet at this hour. One family scrambles to the front desk to check out early and make their flight. You smile as one of the children, a little girl in Snow White pjs waves at you. You wave back as the mother turns to look at you and gives you a small smile.

The smell of coffee causes your attention to shift from the family to a small cafe on the other side of the lobby. You walk over and order a (coffee/tea/other). You pull out your wallet and pay for the drink, then sit down at a table facing a large window. The sun is beginning to rise and the clouds are tinted purple.

You take a picture of the sky and post it on your snapchat story. You take a sip of your drink and smile as small birds chirp in a nearby tree. You watch them hop between the branches in search of bugs to eat for breakfast. You flip through a magazine that was sitting on the table next to you.

"Y/N!" A familiar voice says from behind. You turn around to see Phil walking over, a cup of coffee in his hand. "You're up early." He observes, pulling up a chair next to you and turning to look at the sunrise.

"Good morning Phil." You respond, sipping your drink. "How did you know I was here?"

Phil holds up his phone, the picture you posted on the screen. You hit your forehead with your palm and Phil laughs, before taking a sip of his drink.

The two of you watch the sun rise and chat about anime.

"Will you take a picture for my Instagram?" You ask Phil and he nods. You stand in front of the window and gaze out at the sky. Phil does an amazing job capturing your silhouette in the morning light. You thank him and quickly post the picture.

Moments later Dan arrives, looking slightly like a zombie. He purchases an iced coffee and sits down next to you.

"Good morning Daniel." You greet Dan and he responds with a grunt. Normally you would be upset over something so rude, but when it comes to early mornings you understand. Dan's phone vibrates and the screen brightens, displaying the picture you just posted as his wallpaper. Dan notices you looking at his phone and quickly shuts it off with a blush.

"Phil's a good photographer, eh?" You say and Dan sheepishly nods.

"He had the most beautiful model." Dan responds and you smile, resting your head on his shoulder. "Thanks, Dan."

"We have to check out in an hour so we should probably go up to the room and pack." Phil suggests and you nod in agreement. 

"But I don't want to leave." Dan whines.

"Come on Dan, my parents were hoping to take me to lunch and we have a 2 hour drive." Phil responds, standing up. You stand too, but Dan doesn't budge.

"Maybe we could hang out while Phil goes to lunch?" You suggest to Dan. He looks up at you with a huge smile, his big brown eyes full of excitement.
