the imposter part 7

                     (Sonic 2s POV)
A whole year! A YEAR! And I've only managed myself to kill one of my friends.
Why can't I kill the others? Is it like? Is it hate? No it's guilt...how can I feel guilty about killing them?
Im more driven to kill them than ever now.
I picked up my knife and headed out ready to kill the rest of my friends...the first one I see...Is dead!

                   (Rouge's POV)
I stared down in horror...into the hedgehogs lifeless eyes that stared back into mine...how could this happen?! He was the strongest person I knew who could have possibly killed him?!
I dropped to my knees with tears forming in my eyes as I slid shadows eye lids closed.
"Good luck...wherever you wound up..." I whispered letting the tears escape.
I always thought crying made one weak...but it's not controllable no matter how hard you push, fight and struggle all that anger,fear,depression, anxiety,love and tears have to come bursting out sometime if bottled up...
I should've confessed to him when he was alive.
I layed my head down on his chest my eyes squeezed shut as I cried loudly my sobs echoing through the alley way.
My shadow was gone now...and there was nothing I could do but break down.

                       (Sonic POV)
"Hey blade? Finished with that final installment?!"I yelled up a giant pillar shielding my eyes to see a thumbs up.
I took a deep breath standing at the control panel "here goes nothing..." I said to my self flicking the swicth.
I heard the machine come to life as a a giant blue portal opened as blade dropped down besides me.
We both stared at it amazed.
"Are...are we finally heading home?!" Blade said running in front of it.
"I think we are!" I said just as exited.
Blade didn't waste anymore time he instantly sonic boomed into the portal leaving me behind with silence.
"Hey wait for me!"
I yelled and followed behind as a blinding blue light invaded my eyes.

The first thing I could hear was blade celebrating jumping around like a 5 year old did on Christmas day.
"WE'RE BACK WE'RE FINALLY BACK!" Blades ears glowed yellow as he kept on laughing and jumping around.
I got to my feet and saw we were in... tails's work shop!
It was dusty... obviously he hadn't been in here for awhile.
I felt the joy of being back burst through me as I ran to the nearest light swicth killing the darkness with a flick of a swicth.
Blade looked at tails's inventions with the look of pure amazement on his face.
"I finally get to meet all my hero's!" He said looking at a picture of all of us that was sitting on the desk.
I couldn't wait anymore...I just couldn't.
"Uh blade let's meet later you got to go see lazurus and I gotta go see tails and the others!"
Blade nodded on agreement and we both raced out the door I waved bye to blade as he took off leaving a trail of burning shoe prints behind him.

I took a deep breath knocking on the door.

                    (Knuckles POV)
I yawned hearing the door being knocked on.
"Coming!" I said tiredly
It was about two full minutes before I could finally stand up right.
I walked over to the door and opened it.
I gasped and instantly narrowed my eyes seeing the blue headgehog in front of me...
"Knuckles!" He yelled hugging me.
"GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!" I yelled punching him on the head.
He yelled out in pain stumbling back taking a moment to look up.
I took advantage of this moment and socked him in the eye making sure one of my spikes sunk in.
Sonic yelled even louder dropping down on all fours holding his eye.
"Knuckles what's going on?!"Amy yelled coming to the door.
"That's the matter" i said Coldly pointing down at Sonic.
Amy gasped and backed up.
Tails was the next to see...
He only stared at Sonic.
Sonic finally got back up to his feet his gloves soaked in blood as he looked at the three of us in disbelief.
"W-what D-did I do?!" He yelled at us
I growled loudly striking him across the face again. "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHAT YOU DID BASTARD!"
I suddenly perked up realizing what I just said.
I looked at tails expecting to see his eyes filled with tears but no...his eyes were so unforgiving as he stared down at Sonic.
Sonic looked back at tails.
"What's...going on...?" He asked the fox.
Tails only growled and shoved him away.
"GET OUT OF HERE AND NEVER COME BACK!"tails yelled
"I DISOWN YOU AS MY BROTHER!"
I didn't have to slam the door shut...tails already beat me to it.
Me and Amy stared at the fox who was turned away from us his hand still on the door knob...even I thought that was brutal...and I stabbed his eye...
                      (Tails's POV)
The nerve of him! Showing up after a year, acting like nothing happened asking us what was happening when he KNOWS what he did!
I stood there standing at the door my hand still on it.
I could feel Amy and knuckles standing behind me in disbelief.
I felt Amy's hand on my shoulder and I immediately smacked it away.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" I yelled whipping around.
Amy just stood silently​ holding her hand.
I turned away from them and stomped upstairs slamming the door behind me.
"You just HAD to show up sonic didn't you??!" I yelled to no one.
"You just had to..."

                     (Sonics POV)
I sat in front of the door in complete silence holding my eye.
Honestly, I didn't know what hurt more my eye or tails saying that he...disowned me a brother.
I held my stabbed eye feeling my blood and tears mix together.
"What did I do...?" I looked down at the ground running possibilities through my head as I got up and started walking away.

                      (Blades POV)
Complete silence...that's what I was answered with when I walked into the house where me and lazurus lived.
"Laz?!" I called out only to be responded with silence.
"He must be out..." I told myself heading to the kicthen.
I opened up the fridge to find tons of food.
I just grabbed something random.
I didn't care what it was one more night of eating fish and fruit and I would've gone insane.

I put my dish in the sink my ears perking up as the door opened up I ran into the living room to see lazurus.
Lazurus heard me run in and turned around.
"B-blade?" He asked.
"Yes! Im finally ba-" I was cut short as he tackle hugged me to the ground squeezing me nearly to death.
"L-laz c-c-cant b-breath" I managed to get out.
Lazurus gasped and let go standing up pulling me up to my feet.
"W-where have you been?! I've been worried sick!"
My ears started glowing white even though i knew me disapering was not my fault at all.
"Ok laz...I know this is gonna be hard to believe but for the past year...I've been stuck on a planet called planet wisp with sonic the hedgehog."
Lazurus just stared at me really confused.
"I know! I could hardly believe it myself but believe me I can take you too meet him and sonic will say he knows who I am!"
"Well...I've never had you lie to me. Laz said "so has...strange as that story is I'll trust you."
