The new girl in town.

Butterflies.

Today was Saturday April 10th.My mom was coming home today,I was excited to see her.I haven't seen her in about a year she works hard though.I'm not complaining because I'm grateful for everything that I have Albert,the house,my car,etc. I know I sound really materialistic right now but it's what I'm grateful for don't judge me.Anyways we're going out to diner; a sort of 'welcome back' throwback kind of thing.It was Albert's idea so I thought I should do it,I'm now upstairs trying out dresses and contemplating outfits.Justine is on my bed on her phone supposed to be helping me,my mom arrives on our jet at 1:15 and its 12:30.I don't have any outfit put together and I'm ready to pull my hair out then attack Justine."Justine." I hiss at her and she snaps her head in my direction with a momentarily confused face- "oh.right I'm sorry,I got you." and on that note she walks into my closet and picks out a dress with a white sort of cropped top attached to a cobalt high-low bottom piece and nude pumps."thank you." I say with a sort of attitude because she finally got off her lazy ass and helped me.I put the outfit and went to shower,when i came out it was 1:00 already.I had fifteen minutes to get the dress on and do my hair and makeup; you could bet that I was speedy Gonzalez. I was sitting at the beauty table and blow dried my hair into waves and applied some foundation with a cotton candy lipstick.Justine puts a black bow in my hair and clips it in the back of my head.As she does that I always put on my favorite mascara then slip on my nude absolute gorgeous pumps.I take one last look in the mirror before putting on 'someday' by Justin Beiber,I love that perfume I can't get enough.Then Justine takes a picture of me on my phone and posts it on every social media i have with the caption "butterflies are pretty to look at but hard to catch," I thank her and grab a black clutch and put my phone in "wait." she says frantically and grabs a bold statement gold necklace from my necklace section in my closet.."now go." she assures and we practically run down the steps and I thank her once again then wave goodbye as she gets in her car and I get into the limo.We arrive at the runway just as my mom is coming off the plane,Albert opens the door for me and I step out walking to my mother.She hugs me tightly and whispers "my baby's all grown up." she steps back and holds me by my arms observing the young woman I've become.She stares at me with admiration then Albert reminds her that we should get going if we want to make that reservation at WP24 by Wolfgang puck.That's actually the name of the damn place it's crazy right,well anyways we're driving to the restaurant and i get a good look at what my mom is wearing- she's wearing a strapless aqua blue gown that falls to her feet gracefully.At the top of the strapless gown its a dark aqua green/blue then as you move downward it turns into a light aqua blue then finally a white with the aqua blue at her feet. She carries a silver clutch and wearing silver glittery pumps on her feet,she looks like a modern Cinderella she's breathtaking.I also know now while looking at her that she grew out her hair but it was up in an up-do,kinda like elsa's from frozen.The car comes to a halt when I realize we're here,my mother steps out first and you can almost bet she was greeted with paparazzi.Albert reaches for my hand I step out gracefully and hold my moms stretched out hand.We thank Albert then walk down the red carpet and thank the doorman for doing his job.We take a seat at our table and order an appetizer with two waters.While we wait on the food I start the conversation- "so,mom how was producing?" i ask curiously "great.Frozen was a big hit and everybody loved it." she smiles proud of herself,my mom co-produced on that movie. "I actually ran into your father in Paris while working on a new movie-" I cut her off "really?! how is he??" I ask dying to know.Then a familiar voice behind me says "I'm doing quite fine princess." I turn back in utter shock and don't even process what I did next but I jumped on my dad and hugged him ever so tightly."daddy." I say in relief tears coming to my eyes,a waiter brings him a chair and I straighten out my dress then sit down.He's wearing a suit with a blue tie,now you see that we are all alike.My dad was like a Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom welling in one dashing man,I could now see why my mom fell in love with him.He had one of those smiles that just kinda could instantly charm you effortlessly,my mother blushes as he kisses her cheek and says she looks like a queen.We all talk for hours and I find that my dad will be working in Cali now with my mo so we'll be living under the same household for once lol.Its been the best day ever and we leave the restaurant and drive to our complete house.I'm summer and my family is back together,wish me luck for my birthday next week... p.s I heard we're going to coachella xoxo much love-
