Clarke's POV:

" It looks a little different than last time," Bellamy says to the group with full concentration on driving.

Monte and Harper are on lookout on the roof- we know there's nobody around but its better safe than sorry. Murphy and Emori are keeping a close eye on the windows while Raven is showing Madi some things she's already fixed; Echo just sits there sharpening her knife.

Okay it's still a little awkward between us, then again i didn't trust her when she left either, she has no loyalties to anybody.

" You could say its-" i stop half way through my sentence when the whole rover nearly flips over at the rocks beneath us; i look to Bellamy with raised eyebrows-" a little bumpy." I finish and he flashes me a quick smile.

We've been driving for around hours and i've been beating up my eyes so i can stay awake for Bellamy: then he wont be alone plus, the nightmares I've been having are getting worse anyways.

" Clarke," Bellamys asks me with the same look of concern he's always had," you should sleep." He states.

" No, I'm not tired. Why don't we swap? Park up the rover and-"

" No need." Bellamy says breathlessly, looking ahead of him and stopping the rover with a sharp hault; the others complain in the back about hitting their heads.

To see what Bellamy sees, I turn my head and take insight to admire how hidden we are in the trees. Ahead of us, there stands piles and piles of fallen buildings, very few are still standing and most of it is just piles and piles of rock. Luckily, a year ago I drew on where the Polis tower was so it'd be easier to find with Bellamy and the others.

" We get out here." I tell the others and one by one we all pile out from the rover.

"Is it hidden enough?" Madi asks me, catching up with Bellamy and I

" It should be." I reply," Come on it's not far to the tower now." I raise my voice as we all start walking.

Once we reach the heart of the city, they barely recognize it but who can blame them, it's all stone and rubble now. We're around a 10 minutes walk away when I feel Madi rush to my side.

"Have you admitted it yet?" She asks innocently

" Admitted what?" I ask her, not really wanting her to answer

" Omg do I need to spell it out."

" No you don't. And I'm not going to, we cant have any of this now, not until we get our people out of that bunker."

" But you said you regretted it everyday not telling him." Madi playfully argues

" Yes I know, but he's here now. I'm not saying a thing, that's the end of it."

" What if you die during all this chases um? And you never told him.?" I smirk at her comment

" That's your argument, what if I die?" I chuckle," Didn't I teach you better than that?"

" Well can you prove me wrong?" I raise an eyebrow

" Bellamy's kept me alive this long..Watch this." I whisper in her ear before running ahead of the group and I can feel Madi's eyes on me.
