She looked toward the door as Itachi walked in shutting it behind him. "I must be quick." She sat up turning herself to face Itachi as he leaned on the wall. "Tomorrow you will be leaving this place" he said quietly as to avoid Madara's all-seeing eyes, she said nothing, simply waited for his explanation. "All of Akatsuki will be gone on missions tomorrow, I have arranged to where the seal will be weakened on your room so you can escape" he then pulled a map out of his pocket, "Take this I want to you make your way to Konohagakure". She took the map placing it in her own pocket, making it to his old village from , would be no trouble. Where she hadn't ever used a map, her skills reading one in a real situation would be no trouble. "What of you, won't you get in trouble?" she shifted uncomfortably she didn't have much of a personal connection with Itachi since he was so distant but she still did not want him to be on the dark end of Madara's wrath "Don't worry arrangements have been made, just do your part correctly" he then stood up, "the signal to escape will be Kisame yelling down the corridors, at that moment him and I will be the last to head out to our mission and Madara will be gone, also you will need to get Madara to enter your room before he leaves" Itachi then grabbed the door handle. "When?" she needed some sort of signal to pull off her part in the mission. "You will hear one of my crows" he looked to her impatiently, he needed to leave to keep the conversation short, to not rise suspicion. "Very well" she stood up, she wasn't sure what this feeling was that she had, she wanted to show him affection in some manner but she didn't know how, she would probably never see him again. He then held one arm out, she looked to him confused, he waved her to him. She walked towards him slowly and wrapped his arm around her, 'this is a ... hug' she thought to herself shocked. She wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly, "Goodbye Ray" he whispered letting her go before he walked out the door.

Ray waited, she couldn't sleep, she did not want to miss the signal. Itachi's crows were easy to distinguish from regular crows for her However, sometimes they were hard to hear. Finally, she heard it, just barley though, his crow cawed in the distance, this was her signal it was time. She walked over to the door and started banging on it yelling for Madara. She waited for a moment, it didn't usually take much to get his attention, and since she stopped yelling for him for everything as she did as a child, he usually came when she called. Finally, he swung the door open, "what do you want child" he glared at her through his mask. She knelt to bow quickly, Itachi had taught her how to properly bow out of respect. However, Madara did not want respect he wanted obedience. He had beat her into submission to get on her knees, sitting on her legs, in the process, and 'kissing' the floor, she hated doing this though it was so demeaning, but she did not want to make Madara mad, "I'm sorry master, I don't mean to bother you, however it has been a full week since I have had any food to eat" she lied, Itachi had fed her when he came over just before he gave her the news of the escape plans but she needed something that was believable. "Wasn't Itachi supposed to feed you yesterday" he grunted. "I have no knowledge of who you send to feed me master, I apologize for my insubordinance" she kept her head low, never being so foolish as to look at his Sharingan. He said nothing he simply left the room, she wasn't too worried about him coming back, she had gotten him in the room as instructed. She waited but after a moment she thought he for sure wouldn't come back. However, as she began to stand up he re-entered the room, she quickly knelt back down, here you annoying brat" he threw a plate on the floor that contained a stale piece of bread. "Thank you master" she kept her head down. He said nothing as he left once more. 'ok my part has been completed' Ray thought to herself 'so I suppose I wait'. She then sat back on her bed waiting to hear Kisame's signal.

Finally, after waiting for a while she heard Kisame's voice ring down the hallways. She then waited a few more moments and made her move to take down the door forcibly. To her surprise it was more than simple she probably didn't have to use near as much strength in her kick as she did. 'I suppose Itachi weakened the seal on the room' she thought to herself as she began to make her way through the corridors of the large building she resided in. She finally made her way out into the rain of Amegakure she looked up at the sky, she hoped this would be the last time she would ever have to look at this dull sky. She ran through the rain, never looking back, she ran and ran till finally she realized she needed to look at the map, she was almost certain she had been going the right way, however, she wanted to assure that she was. So, she sat down on a boulder to read the map that she had place in her pocket. When she pulled it out though it was nothing but a pile of mush, "how could I have been so stupid" she sighed in frustration, "damn rain" she threw the slop of map behind her. 'I suppose I will have to get help then' she was thinking as she began to calculate her next step to ensure she reach her destination. When she began to hear voices, of course catching her attention. 'Maybe whoever that is can help' she made her way to where she heard the voices.
