Evie was sitting in her dorm, in front of her sewing machine. Tears were rolling down her cheek, and she was looking down at her feet.
At this moment, Mal ran in and slammed the door, also crying.
"H-hi E. Wh-why are you crying?"
Mal layed down on her bed, looking at Evie. She loved how her blue hair glimmered in the Sun.
Evie glanced over at Mal. "I-I broke up with Doug...Why are you crying?"
Mal laughed a bit. "I guess we're both crying for the same reason."
Evie decided to make a joke out of this. Hopefully it made Mal laugh.
"Wait, so you broke up with Doug too?! Was he cheating?"
Mal laughed a little and wiped her tears.
"No, silly! I-I broke up with Ben..."
Mal sighed and got off her bed.
"I'm sorry, M."
Evie hugged Mal tight. Mal blushed, and hugged back.
"Thanks. But I actually broke up with him!"
Evie laughed a bit. She looked down at Mal.
"Same with me and Doug."
"Wow! I guess we're two heartbreakers with broken hearts, aren't we?"
"Yep."
Evie stroked a piece of hair from Mal's face and smiled at her. Then, she messed up Mal's hair!
"E!" Mal laughed.
Mal reached up and messed up Evie's hair.
"Haha! Don't! Don't!" Evie exclaimed, laughing.
Mal smiled big and rolled on her bed in laughter. Evie came behind her.
"You're the best best friend a girl could ever have." Mal said, hugging Evie.
"Back at ya, M." Evie smiled, hugging Mal back.
However, they both secretly wished they were more than friends.
