Blue to my Purple: Chapter 10

Evie's POV

When I drove the limo up to Auradon U, it was about midnight. We were thirty minutes past curfew, so I knew Mal and I had to get in quick.

When I looked in the backseat, I saw that Mal was asleep. I giggled a little and got out of the car. I went to her door, picked her up, and started walking to our dorm.

Mal's POV

I felt Evie pick me up from the car. I guess we were already back at school.

I opened my eyes and smiled at Evie.

"Hi, E. That sure was fun, huh?"

Evie laughed slightly and nodded.

"Yeah, I'm glad we went. I'm sorry I ever doubted you. I know you wouldn't have kissed Ben." Evie said apologetically, walking into our dorm.

I jumped down from her arms and sat on my bed, Evie sitting next to me. I pulled her into a tight hug.

"It's okay. Everyone gets that way sometimes." I reassured Evie, yawning.

Evie's POV

"Thanks. And we should probably get to sleep. We're 40 minutes past curfew!" I said, getting up from the bed and starting to change into my pajamas.

"You're right!" Mal agreed, starting to get in her pajamas as well.

Once we were both ready for bed, it was 1:00 am.

"I can't sleep." Mal said after a few minutes.

"Me neither." I replied.

Mal walked over to my bed and sat on the edge of it.

"Wanna stay up all night?" she asked.

I smirked and got out of my bed, sitting next to her.

"Since we have school tomorrow, probably not the best idea. I'll do it!" I said jokingly.

Mal's POV

I laughed at her little joke and leaned on her shoulder.

"You crack me up, E." I said, smiling.

"Hehe. So, what do you wanna do if we're staying up all night?" she aske

"Truth or Dare?" I suggested.

"You read my mind!" Evie exclaimed, sitting down on the floor with me.

Evie's POV

"Truth or dare?" I asked Mal.

"Hmm, truth." she replied.

I thought for a while. I already knew lots about Mal, what could I ask her?

"Umm, what's the cutest nickname you can come up with for me?" I joked.

"Blueberry Princess!" Mal said.

"Cute!" I replied, laughing slightly.

Mal's POV

"Evie...I have something to ask you." I said seriously. I was really nervous.

"You can ask me anything." she replied.

I touched my back pocket before starting to talk to Evie.

"Evie, ever since the day I met you, I fell in love with your beauty and personality. You are always kind and forgiving. I admire you for that. I never thought you could ever like someone like me. Now, here we are, and I'm the happiest I've ever been in my whole life. It just felt like the right time to ask."

Evie's POV

I saw Mal get down on one knee and pull a small box from her pocket.

"Evie Queen, you're the blue to my purple. Will you make me the happiest girl in the world, and marry me?" Mal asked.

I started crying tears of joy and nodded.

"Y-yes!" I said, pulling her into a tight hug and kissing her. I couldn't believe it.

Mal's POV

I was so happy Evie said yes! I couldn't be happier.

"I love you, Mal." Evie said.

"I love you too."
