Sometimes I Imagine life by the sea,
Oh! How pleasant and nice it would be,
Just me, alone, away from all noise
Where I wouldn't have to make any choice.
Sometimes I Imagine life by a river,
So cool and calm, I wouldn't have to shiver,
I would hear the calm waters soothingly flow
And sunshine would make the waters glow.
Sometimes I Imagine life on an island,
Quiet and peaceful, just me and my violin,
I would play it in rhythm without any worry
And there would be no need to hurry.
Sometimes I Imagine life at such places
And then I remember life's full of crises
Where worry and tension live at the centre
And there is but peace, home and shelter.***
And that was my first poem for this book. This was written a few years back and thus, the childish flair (although many of you didn't think so the last time I published it).
This was the poem with the most reads and votes and the only one that received so much love. This is why i thought I'd publish it as the first one this time.
So, thank you my dear readers for all your love. Please continue to shower your love on this book and a reminder, requests are still open. (Do refer to Author's Note)Until next time,
Love always,
-Staira
