" Sorry, I'm not good at flying.....yet," the boy chuckles then continues before I can object. "So where's your friends, I'd love to meet them...."
"Who are you?" I ask.
"Why? Jack Frost," I'm so stupid I should have known from the white hair and icy blue eyes, along with the sudden chill in the room. I just didn't expect him to be so young.
"Aren't you like .....1000.... years old?!" I question.
"Give or take a few years," he replies before laughing, a monkeys grin plastered on his face. " and your name is..?"
Since I technically didn't know Jack, I was going to give a false identity, but my mind went blank. Jack seemed so free-spirited; something I haven't been in a long time. I couldn't lie to him.
"Lydia," I reply hoping I don't regret it in the future.
"Well Lydia, you're more like Rapunzel to me," he laughs again. Why's everything funny to him? How can he be so happy? I wish I was that happy. Without Eugene I haven't been able to feel anything.
"Who?"
"Rapunzel," he pauses and I raise my eyebrows in confusion. "You know from fairytales, with the long hair and the prince climbs up her hair to rescue her from the tower," then I blurt out before I can stop myself.
"My Prince is dead," this time Jack doesn't laugh or change the subject. His eyes harden as they say
"I'm sorry," I just nod. "Well I better go, Merida and Hiccup are-"
"Excuse you," I say trying to be polite. He has a puzzled experts on on his face. "You hiccuped," I tell him. Maybe he's always happy but ignorant as well.
"Oh, no, that's his name," he explains with a grin.
"Interesting," what a unique name, who would name their child that?
"Yeah next time, I'll take you with me to see them," he grins again.
"You're coming back?"
"Of course!" They he jumps out of my window and flies. I hope he doesn't break his neck. But I wasn't paying much attention. Now it was my turn to smile for I had someone.

You couldn't be mad at Jack. There's no way. He's always so easy going and goofy that after a few minutes you forget why you were mad at him in the first place. He visits me everyday and makes me laugh and smile. He's making me be like the person I was before. He could never replace Eugene but....he helps me in ways no one else has. He introduced me his friends. Merida, a curly read haired Scottish princesses, and Hiccup, a dragon trainer.
We go on tons of adventures and I fit in with them. Whenever Hiccup drops little hints about his love for Merida, it makes me wonder if Jack would ever love me.

"Hey Punzie," Hiccup calls. Jack told them my name was Rapunzel, he told them that it suited me better than my real name. It was Jacks name for me. Punzie is for short. It's refreshing. New name, new life. Next to Jack, Hiccups my favorite. It's not good to pick favorites, but I do it anyway. Besides, Matt was always moms favorite, Ianthe was dads.
Hiccup was a shy care free boy who is very scrawny. His brown hair never stays fixed, it always ends up flat on his head. And no matter how much he tries to hide his freckles more appear. He's an animal lover. He trains dragons for a living. He even let me ride his dragon, Toothless. That was the best feeling I've ever had, flying through the air with a friend, the breeze blowing away all the worries as I screamed in delight. Hiccup was laughing at my excitement the whole time.
I think Jack got jealous because that night he carried me in his arms and flew me to the tower.
Merida's different. She's very adventurous, and is always complaining about woman's rights and complains when she helps me braid my hair. Jack never complains. Merida is always rushed, while Jack is gentle as his fingers stroke through my hair. With these people, I no longer need my hair in knots.
