The day after Blaine died, the next school day, the school was covered with RIP BLAINE and WE WILL MISS YOU BLAINE posters on lockers. The teachers and Principle had thought it would be good for the students to recognise Blaine's death by putting up posters and pictures. To be honest it was a big mistake. All they did was remind us of him, and make us even more sad. They stayed up for weeks until the teachers thought they should take them down. In class, I sat and stared into space. I would even cry during class and I wouldn't get in trouble or even judged. They understood. We had been together since he had realised he didn't like girls. We loved each other, we didnt use each other like some couples do. Eventually the crying ceased and depression and being distraught stayed for a very long time. People tried snapping me out of it but it didnt work, I was ruined. I didn't understand why. Why he died. Why I was there when it happened. Why I am still alive and he isn't. Why, why, why!!! I didn't understand. Why his brother refuses to even try and forgive me.
