After school Nick, Cooper and I head toward the old detention room. I turn to her when we stop outside the door. "How did you get Detention, Coop?" She shrugs and smiles a little "Eh, I may or may not have dumped Kaleb Johnson out of his chair because he winked at me." I laugh "Wow, I don't even know what I did. But then again it is Mrs. Galloway." She shrugs. Nick speaks up "You did get me in trouble too. Whispering in class then arguing with her." Cooper raises her eyebrows. I say "Well...yah but I always do that. I guess she was just in a good mood today." The door opens and I find the other people already inside, they must have had Ms. Brower, the teacher next door. Inside are Skylar, Chris, Sage, Jaime, Shay, Dalton, and Day, and a few freshmans I don't recognise. Skylar, Chris, Jaime, and the twins are Blaine's brothers. They know I didn't do anything wrong and still treat me as a brother. I sit in my usual spot, near the window with an empty spot to my left and in front of me. I realise the teacher isn't Mrs. Galloway, but the student teacher Miss. Michele. I smile and wave at her. She smiles and waves back "What did you do this time Nate?" I say "I really don't know, Mrs. Galloway was just in the mood for giving detentions, and I may have been talking to the new kid and I may have also yelled at her yesterday." Sage snorts "Yelled? More like screamed I could hear you two from Mr. Lopez's room." Miss Michele laughed and asked "A new kid?" I nod and point to Nick who is sitting to my left. "Yah Nick Sinclair. I got him in trouble too." Miss Michele says "I don't doubt that Nate. Hi Nick I'm Michele. I substitute for Mrs. Galloway. Your buddy Nate is like a little brother too me he is in here so much." Nick relaxed and says "Wow, he said he holds the record for Most Detention Slips Given when he as a freshman." She laughs again tucking her blond hair behind her ear. "Yes that is true. I am the one who came up with that award system. Actually the second and third place Are in this room. The twins obviously Dalton and Day." They smile and wave. "Well guys, and girl of course, I don't have a list of what to do so...do whatever you want I guess!" Miss Michele exclaims enthusiastically. Everybody gets up and talks to somebody. I go over to and sit on Nick's table. Cooper comes over too. We sit and talk for a while until the bell rings for dismissal from after school clubs and detention.
