A/N- This chapter is short, but for a reason.

I waited two weeks before I could get the chance to see her. I had to wait until Tom was busy to avoid him asking questions. I woke up nervous and low on sleep.

The car ride there was full of silence, but then again there was no one to talk to. The driver I guess, but he didn't look too nice anyways. The car stopped. and I just stared at it, worried what would happen when I went inside.

"You gonna get out?" asked the driver imaptiently.

Eventually, I thought. "Yeah, sorry." I pened the car door and started walking up the cracked stone steps. A nurse smiled at me as I walked to the front desk, and I tried to smile back, but I'm not sure if I really did or not.

I gave the lady at reception the name, and she showed me to the room. The halls were dark, not helping my mood. It seemed like it took forever to get there. Every step weighed me even more to the earth, like gravity was trying to pull me under and keep me hidden.

Finally we got there. The large, cold, and wide metal door opened slowly to reveal what secrets it hid in the room.

     There she was.

Her hair was messy, and she looked sad. She looked up.

"You have a visitor," said the nurse.

I walked in to the cold institution room. "Hi, mom."
