Everything can be going well till it all starts to crash down because of a person.

"How much you wanna bet that Dallas wont get kicked out." Two-bit whispered to me as we walked down the black street.

"Bet you fifteen dollars that he will either leave or get kicked out." I told Two with a smile on my face.

"Thats a lot of money kid."

"Well you never know what to expect from Dall." I explained.

"Good point." Two-bit said as we slid under the gate to get into the drive-in.

I'm gonna win the bet.

Later, we sat behind a group of Socs. Ella and her friends to be specific.

"Isn't that Ella?" Ponyboy asked me.

"How do you-?" I glared at him.

"Two-bit." Johnny and Pony answered.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Of course."

Dally then scooted closer to Cherry and whispered to her but loud enough we could hear him say: "Are you a real redhead?.."

Ella, Marcia, and Nikki looked at each other then at Dally in disgust.

"How can I find out this is your real hair?" Dally asked again and played with Cherry's hair.

"Get away from me hood!." Cherry yelled at Dally.

"Now thats a harsh word to describe me with. But when can I find out this is your real hair..."

"Get off me!" Cherry yelled as Dally started to whisper in her ear and god knows what he was saying.

"Oh no Pony! What am I going to do!?" Dally said sarcastically.

"Lay off Dall." Johnny snapped at his hero.

Dally is always cold hearted and tough. He'll only act soft around and for Johnny and I.

Dally glared at Johnny and walked off madly.

Cherry smiled at us. "Thanks. You can sit with us if you want.." Johnny and Pony nodded quickly but I turned down the opportunity since Nikki and Ella were in a deep conversation.

Out of nowhere I heard a mustang pull up on the side of the movie right by the gate we climb through.

Randy.

Quietly I stood up and climbed under the gate to get to Randy.

"You got my stuff, kid?." Randy asked me while leaning on the red mustang.

"Do you have my money?." I asked while looking around to see if people were watching.

"Yeah."

Once again, I looked around. "How bout we walk down the street or somethin.. Ya dig?"

Randy nodded and started walking. "I dig." He answered.

"So, what made you make me meet you here?" Randy asked.

I shrugged.
"Had to convince Darry."

"Well.." Randy stopped and stuck his hand out. "Nice doing business with you."

We 'shook' hands and started to walk in different directions.

Maybe selling for Chris can get me more money..

"Where were you Max?" Pony asked as we walked out of the movies.

"Something thats none of your business." Two-bit answered for me.

"Thanks Two." I replied as we walked down the cold street.

Nights like these were my favorite because we were just kids being kids... Messing round.

"And that's how you get a girl." Dally explained with a smirk on his face, clearly drunk.

"Not even!" I giggled back at him spinning around and walking like a little kid.

"Yes even!" Two-bit yelled while punching me.

"I'm pretty sure that's not how it works but okay.." Johnny mumbled.

"What time is it anyway?" I asked looking at the stars in the sky.

"11:40pm.." Pony answered scared for his life.

Eventually we ended up walking to my house where Two spent the night.

"You sure I can stay?" Two-bit asked again leaning on the wall in my bedroom.

"Yeah, Myles is at Nikki's for the night so its cool. And plus I'm straight as a circle." I reminded him.

Two-bit and I laughed then sighed. "Yeah, I think we all know that."
