Max's Pov.

"You know I liked you Max," Chris said, twirling a pen in his hand.

I stared at the dark skinned boy with the devils eyes. I tried standing up but his people sat me back down.

"I did everything for you, and you know it. This is bullshit," I said.

"No, its called business." Chris said, smiling.

"What the fuck do you want with me!? I did everything for you!" I screamed, getting irritated.

Chris started to laugh, walking closer to me and caressing my face.

"Get your fucking hands off me," I growled.

"A little fire.. Nice," Chris laughed.

I looked around the room, looking for a way out.

"I get it.." I laughed, shaking my head.

"Get..get what?.." Chris asked, looking around and thinking I was insane.

"You want me to think I'm nothing.." I started.

Quickly I pulled out my gun, shooting at the glass on the table besides us.

"Wha.." I heard Dally mumble in shock.

"You want me to thing I can't do shit." I continued after I shot the light above us.

Slowly, I walked to Chris and grabbed his chin.

"But I am so much more than you think." I smirked before I knocked him out with the gun.

Quickly, I looked around the room to figure out where Mia is.

"In here!!" I heard Bob scream.

Dally and I ran over to Bob amd Randy.

"Where?" Dally asked because Bob was on his knees on the wooden floor.

"There's an underground way," Randy explained.

"Move," Dally said before punching the wooden floor and stepping on it before it opened.

"Mia!?" I asked as I heard children tears.

As I looked down I notcied blood and bodies everywhere.

"Come on Mia, we gotta go now," I told her as she stuck her hands out.

Quickly, I pulled her out and handed her to Dally.

"You're fine kid," Dally said, pulling her hair out of the way.

I looked around for an empty duffle bag.

"What are you doing?" Bob asked.

"Getting money for my family," I answered as I threw money in my bag.

When I filled up the first one, I grabbed a second one, then a thrid one.

"Let's go," I said standing with three bags full of money.

When we had gotten back in the car I held Mia in my arms carfully, telling her sweet things in her ear.

"Everything will be okay"

"You're fine princess"

"We're going to a safe place"

Dally looked at me as Mia had finally fell asleep.

"Hey..." I whispered to Dally, making him look at me once again.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"Thank you for everything..." I told Dally.

"Hey, you're my sister, I have to protect you," He said with a smile.

When we arrived home Myles was waiting outside anxiously.

"Where is she?" Myles asked quickly.

I turned around and looked at Mia who ran up to Myles.

"Myles!" Mia yelled as she jumped into his arms.

"Oh my pequeña princesa..." Myles whispered as he held Mia in his arms.

Violet came out side and ran to me, hugging me instantly.

"You came back.." Violet said.

"Of course, I had to," I said with a smile.

Dally and Myles were talking which was kind of a surprise since they havent spoken in a while.

"Max?" I heard a voice and turned around instantly.

"I missed you," I mumble to Ella as I hugged her.

"Never do that to me again..." Ella said with a sad laugh.

"Never again, never again Ella," I said as I shooked my head.

Everything was finally normal... I had everything I needed, my family, not friends.
