My best friend looked at me with anger and worry as we sat in Ponyboy's room.

"What the fuck was that bout earlier?." Two-bit asked me with an eyebrow up.

"What was what?.." I asked while laying on the floor, looking at the ceiling.

Dont tell him,

"Who was that guy? What was he talking about?." Two asked me again.

"Stuff." I answered quietly.

"Max dont lie to me." Two started.

I laughed and rolled my eyes. "I'm not lying bout anything Two."

"Max you're lying to me! All of us!" Two-bit screamed making me jump up and covering his mouth.

"Two-bit shush." I told him.

"Why should I Max? You're lying to me. What happened to being best friend's and telling each other everything?" I went silent because I didnt know what to say.

"So what's goin on?" Two asked me.

"I-I sell..". I whispered.

"Since when."

"Huh?" I said.

"Since.When."

"You knew this Two-bit!!" I snapped standing up.

"But I didnt know you were actually doing it! Who else knows!?" Two-bit screamed.

"Everyone joked bout it and never took it seriously so that's their fault."

"Why." Two asked.

I sighed and slid against the door putting my head into my knees.
"M-Myles needed help.. He was working and at school at the same time"

Dont cry Max, you're tuff.

"Why didnt you really explain to us.." Two said, shifting over to me.

"I-I didn't know dammit!." I punched the wall behind me.

Darry probably heard me.

Darry then came knocking on the door. "Max, Two, what's going on?"

"Get away asshole!" I answered.

"This is my house you're in remember!? Dont cuss in my house."

"Whatever" I mumbled making me break down even more.

"Maxine, Keith, open the door now." Darry said making Two stand up.

"Max.." Two whispered to me.

"No!" I shouted.

"Max!." Darry yelled at me.

Quickly I whipped my eyes and grabbed my backpack. My best friend looked at me worried.

I opened the door. "What." I told Darry walking to the bathroom about to get changed.

Dont tell them anything they would make you stop! Fuck Maxine why are you so dumb!?! Why do you do this!? This is wrong!.

The cold water splashed on my face making me snap out of it.

"Y-Youre fine Max.." I whispered to myself walking into Pony's room checking how I looked.

"Why so nice?" Dally asked me.

"She's going on a date!" Steve answered jumping on Pony's bed.

"Can you NOT jump on my bed!?" Pony asked Steve who ignored the little brother.

"With who?" Darry asked walking in.

Before I could speak Soda answered. "With a middle class girl!"

"She's friends with Myles's girlfriend and Cherry valance." Johhny added.

"How can you get a Socs when Dally gets cussed out by one?" Two-bit joked.

"Verrrryyyy funny." Dally started. "Wanna die?" He asked making Johnny duck a little.

"So where ya taking her?" Darry asked.

"Her bedroom." Steve answered pointing to the door.

"Dally youre right. He does wanna die." I agreed with Dally.

"Hey no killing in my house!" Darry screamed making us quiet.
"Take that outside, dont want no blood everywhere." Darry suggested.

Dally and I looked at each other.
"Okay," we said chasing Steve out the house.
