My mum stood up from where she was sitting and walked over to me, she placed her hand on my cheek and smiled, her eyes teared up.
"I am so proud of my little girl" she said with a soft tone.
Seeing my mum tear up, made me tear up.

My heart sunk, I had forgotten about the year 10 ball, they have one for all the senior year groups, this was my first ball. Dates, I thought, you would have to have a date, I mean you don't have to have a date but I want my first ball to be special and memorable, so, having a date would make it special. My biggest wish is that Nathan Hudson would be my date, but, I would kidding myself.
Fancy Balls, are so much work, I didn't fit into the girly girl category, where you get all glammed up with make-up and getting your hair done and plus I would look dorky in a dress, I always wear pants or shorts, never in my entire life, will I ever where a dress, it's not that I don't like dresses it's just that they don't suit me.
I wondered back upstairs to my room and sat down on study chair, I looked at my Skype notifications and saw 2 messages from an unknown user, I clicked on the messages.It Read.
