My First

The Rescue

Nathan unwrapped his arms from me, it was if we had been standing here looking at the view for hours, my eyes hardly stayed opened, Nathan sat down and I sat down and placed my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

"Brook" Nathan whispered.

"Hm?" I mumbled.

"You can't fall asleep here" He said.

I opened my eyes and looked up and him, I smiled, I kissed him.

"What was that for?" He asked.

I didn't answer and just smiled to myself, Nathan's arms around me squeezed tighter.

"What's that?" I asked.

I pointed to this shiny object that the light of the moon was shining off, it was round. Nathan got up and I stood up and he told me to stand there, He walked over to the shiny object, he was so close to it, suddenly it slipped and fell into the water.

"NATHAN!!"I screamed.

I ran over to him, the shiny object was in the water because of the water, it was clear, Nathan didn't notice that the object was in the water and slipped in, he had banged his head when he feel in, I saw him floating down, if I didn't jump in, he could drown and die, I slipped of my hoodie and dived in, it was handy to be a good swimmer, I moved my eyes round and round in a breaststroke movement towards Nathan, when I could finally get a hold of him , I used all my strength to reach him, he was heavier then I expected, I was drowning myself, I gave one last big push to the surface and I managed just grab onto the wall, I dug my finger nails into the the edge of the wall and pulled myself up, I coughed and then reached for Nathan's body and pulled it up on the surface, I coughed hard as a spit out water, I breather heavily. I crawled over the Nathan's body and shook him, I pressed his chest and he coughed out water and lifted his head slowly, I sighed with relief and sank down into a resting position.

"What happened" Nathan asked.

I shook my head and I got up and grabbed my hoodie and began to walk home, I was angry, I was so worried and all he asked is what happened he didn't even care that his girlfriend dived into freezing cold water to save him. I heard him running after me.

"Brook!" I heard him say.

I continued to walk off.

He grabbed my hand and turned my body towards him.

"What's wrong? Why are you mad at me?" He asked while looking into my eyes to try to search for some emotion.

"Are you serious? I jumped into fucking cold water to save you and you didn't even say thank you and ask if I was okay, you didn't even help me when I was coughing my head off!!" I exclaimed.

"Your being ridiculous Brook" He said.

my jaw dropped.

"I'm being ridiculous? are you serious?, I thought that I was gonna lose you, I thought that this is it I'm gonna die and so are you, I can't even explain how explain how scared I was when I saw drowning, I even hurt my arm even more from saving you" I exclaimed.

I shook my head and walked away.

Nathan stood there for a minute then went chasing after me, I just kept walking. I when I reached my house, I opened the door and locked it, Nathan's stuff was still in here, it didn't matter, I ran upstairs and turned on the shower and just hopped in, I drowned the outside sound with music. When I was finished I got changed and blowdried my hair and walked out, I was ready to hop in my bed and just drown out the world with music. Music just is the key to happiness on a bad day. I walked out to find Nathan looking at me while sitting on my bed.
