My First

I Do....

When we landed, I was still asleep on Nathan's shoulder, so, when they woke me up to get off the plane , I was still half asleep, well to be honest it felt like I was still fully asleep, we got our luggage and caught a taxi to my place, my mum and dad were asleep so I just went straight to bed, the others had caught seperate taxis to their own homes, after spending days or which felt like weeks together, we figured we could use some alone time. I woke up to the bright sun shining in my face, I woke up to a breakfast tray on my bedside table and a note reading.

I smiled, I checked the time, it was noon, I got up and got changed then quickly brushed my hair and ate breakfast, I washed the dishes and planned the meet with the others. I showed up to the park, where we had planned to meet at, only to find Nathan sitting on the bench, I walked over and sat down, I noticed he was stroking both his legs nervously.

"Hey" I said.

He broke out of his distraction.

"How did you sleep?" He asked

"Better, it's good to be home" I said.

"You?".

"Good" He said.

"Brooklyn Mary, I have something to ask you" He said.

The sound of his voice saying my full name sent chills down my spine, I knew it was a serious question.

"Go ahead" I said.

I kept my head down, it was a habit that I developed when someone was going to tell me bad news or something terrifying.

"I think it's unsafe to live with our parents, I feel scared to not be with you when your alone so I have a question for you and it's ok if you refuse it is solely your choice" He said cautiously.

I could tell from his body language that he was still nervous, I could see his hands shaking while holding on tight to each other in his lap.

"Ok" I said. I continued to have my head hanging down at my feet.

"I bought us or a..house..do you want live with me..." He said slowly.

I gasped.

"Nathan!" I said.

"I would, but, I will have check if it's okay with my parents" I said.

An instant smile lit up on his face.

"Ok!" He said with delight.

We walked over to my house, I had call both my parents home from work, this was a serious matter. I sat both down.

"Oh god what now, don't tell your pregnant" My Dad said suddenly.

"No no no, dad, just no" I said.

He sighed in relief, my mum chuckled.

"Ok, now out with it " My mum said.

"Mum, Dad, would you be ok with Nathan and I living together" I said.

They both looked at me blankly.

"Honestly, Brook, I don't know what to say but if your father is okay with it then I will put my full support on board." She said.

I smiled at her and looked at me dad.

"I always knew this day would come where you move out" he began.

"And like your mother said, I will always here to support you" He said.

"So? is that a yes or a no" I asked.
