Kiyu led us to our lockers, still clutching onto Taurtis' arm. I could tell it wasn't just my PTSD that made me hate that action, because Grian was glowering at Kiyu's back. "Who does she think she is?" He mumbled in his British accent. "Just grabbing everyone's arms and tugging them along. For her sake, I hope she doesn't try it with me." I laughed quietly at Grian's mumbles to which he responded by matching my laughter. It was worse when she turned around and we couldn't keep the stupid smiles off our faces.

"What's so amusing?" There was a curious tone in her voice, hiding the slight anger present in her words.
"Nothing." Grian and I chimed in unison, maybe a little too quickly. The smile on her face seemed to turn into a scowl.

She yelled down my incredibly sensitive ears. Every insult struck a chord with me. I couldn't stay strong, I couldn't fight, I didn't even know what I was fighting for. That scowl on her face would plague my nightmares for years to come. She bent down wit her knife, stroking my cheek enough for it to burn and sting. I winced at the gentle slice she had made. "You will never escape." She taunted. And for the first time in my captive life, I knew I wasn't. I weren't just die, they'll make sure I live a long life of pain and suffering. And I would see that scowl every single day.

I shook my head to clear away the memory. It's okay, I'm safe. Everything's fine. I stopped my breathing from getting hysterical and quickly returned my attention to Kiyu.

"Grian tripped over his feet." I felt this compulsion to keep Kiyu happy, gord knows what she'll do if she's unhappy. I've already experienced the unhappiness of a certain someone and I still don't like the likeness between her and... her. Grian mumbled something at me but I couldn't care less when the smile returned. "Oh okay. You should watch where you're going." She giggled, Taurtis joined in halfheartedly. "Well here are you lockers and-" she was cut off by the bell.

The three of us quickly stashed our things in our lockers and looked around the corridors. They were pretty much empty. "Where did everyone go? It was full like two seconds ago." Taurtis asked in disbelief. I was kind of wondering that too. How can twenty people disappear in two seconds?
"It's just the way of the school. Get to your class ASAP. Speaking of which we should go." Kiyu answered before hurrying off to the left of our new lockers. The three of us looked at one another before silently coming to the conclusion that we should probably follow her.

We reached room three and heard a voice finish roll call. "We're so late." Kiyu muttered before slipping inside. "You guys sit wherever, I'm sitting at the back." She promptly left us standing at the front of the class, disrupting everyone, without a clue of what to do next.
"Oh, you must all be new. I'm Teacher Tori." An older voice spoke from in front of the teachers desk. She looked like a goat, and I'm not being mean she was a goat. "Um hi, I'm Grian, this is Taurtis and that's Sam." She ushered us in and in an extremely welcoming tone, spoke;
"Well come in and take a seat. Anywhere will be fine. Anywhere that isn't already taken, of course."

Taurtis and I concluded we wanted to sit in the middle of everyone and at the window. Grian sat in front of me, still by the window but closer to the front. Like a good little student. "Okay class, just to get it out of the way, I'm your agriculture teacher." I distantly heard my new classmates asking questions but everything seemed to fade when I looked out the window. From where I was sitting you could see all the way to the highway bridge. That wasn't why I tuned out. There was someone standing on the highway.

A girl, from the looks of it, stop with her back to me and long pink hair flowing over the railing. Like, like-like... her. No, I told myself. She's in jail and not even in Tokyo for that matter. There's no possible way she could be standing on that highway. But there was still a girl on the highway.
"Taurtis? Grian?" I whispered. "Do you see that girl on the highway?" They both acknowledged me before attempting to look out the window. They almost got caught by Teacher Tori, for not paying attention. Luckily, they had turned back to face her, making it seem like we were all wrapped with what she was saying.

"As I said before, we are going on a literal field trip. To collect flowers. Onwards to the courtyard. Plenty of flowers to be picked there." Teacher Tori announced. The class began to get up from the desks and I took the opportunity to sneak a peak out the window. I had to do a double take. The girl was gone. There was no sign of her at all. "That's strange," I muttered. "Surely she couldn't have disappeared in that short time frame."

The class followed Teacher Tori out the courtyard that the rest of the school wrapped around. I'm not going to lie, it was actually kind of nice. It had bushes and benches surrounded by flowers. There were trees in the corners and a huge cherry blossom tree smack bang in the center. It was nice. Maybe even beautiful. "Uh Teacher Tori? What are we doing?" A slippery voice asked. I looked to see where it was coming from and noticed it came from the pond.

"Ah, Igbar Von Squid, how nice it is to see you enjoying the water! It is a nice day after all." Teacher Tori responded, quite detached, as if she wasn't really concentrating on the conversation.
"Um, I suppose it is. But what are we doing?"
"Oh yes. You are all to go and pick several flowers. But keep them with you, you'll need them for another class." She announced before heading over to one of the many benches. The only other thing I heard from Teacher Tori that lesson was to tell Taurtis not to pick the tree.

"Can I pick this flower? It's a pretty huge flower." I turned to see Taurtis motioning to the cherry blossom in the center.
"What? Taurtis you can't pick the tree!" Grian and I chimed at the same time. We seem to have a knack for that recently.
"Oh, no no no no! Child, don't pick the tree! It is not meant to be picked!" Teacher Tori exclaimed, bustling over to Taurtis who was now breaking a few branches off.
"My cherry blossom!?!?" Senor Loro appeared out of nowhere as began crying. "Please, not my blossom!!!!!!" He begged Taurtis who must have finally understood not to pick the tree as he placed the branches on top of other branches. "It's fine. I've put it all back. It's all good." Taurtis tried to defuse the situation. But Senor Loro ran to the tree and hugged it, mumbling reassurances to the tree.

*Ring Ring*

"Uhhh, we should probably get to the next class." Kiyu mentioned, going for Grian's arm to pull. He almost karate chopped her. "Oh sorry, you scared me." The sarcasm dropped off Grian's words. Before she could try it again, he took off in the direction of our lockers. "We have to put the flowers away!" He called as he ran off. I stood there and laughed. At least I did until Kiyu grabbed my arm and pulled me after Grian. I just allowed her to. It was better than the alternative. Kiyu's unhappiness triggered something bad in my head, yet again.

"You will never escape, no one loves you, no one wants you, no one cares for you Sam. Everyone-"
"That's where you're wrong. No one loves you and that's why you went crazy."

A/N

Wow, like gone from not updating for three months, to not even two weeks in between chapters. I told you i would get better. I promised. Hopefully it will be the same for a while. It's only when the assignments start piling up that I find less time to work on my stories. But I'm also going to try and give you guys slightly longer chapters as well to make up for the past and future lack of uploading.

AND just to let you guys know, at the minute it's very close to how the original Tokyo Soul went but that's just for now. Hey if anything I'm going to try and condense like fifty episodes into ten chapters.
But as soon as they've attended every class once, I'll start jumping to other episodes and adding in more of my own bits like I did in Misery

AND AND don't forget to vote, comment and follow me if you enjoyed this chapter.

AND AND AND don't forget, if you enjoyed this, go check out my other stories.
