Vanessa's POV
The Next Morning
I wake up to a text from Zach,
Z- Ready to be a tourist?🤓
V- With you? I don't know
Z- I promise you'll have fun be ready at 10
V- Alright
I can't help but smile a little.
Zach's POV
After my text convo, I'm smiling down at my phone.
"Texting Vanessa?" Asks Daniel coming up behind me.
"What makes you think that?" I ask.
"Dude you're blushing like crazy."
"Am not." I protest.
"Anyway we all know you like her." He adds on. Was I being that obvious?
"Do not." I try to cover up. Daniel grabs my phone from my hand and reads my texts to Vanessa. I get up and try to recover it from him. I'm not as successful. Jonah walks in.
"What's going on in here?" He asks curious what madness is happening between us. Daniel pushes me away from him and I land on the couch. The rest of the boys walk in.
"Jeepers Nutz! What's going on?" Asks Jack.
"Looks like our little Zachy has a date." Announces Daniel. I give him a death stare.
"He's blushing!" Points out Corbyn and I realize how hot my face is.
"Shut up. I am not." I say to try to get them to leave me alone. It only makes them keep going. Daniel runs to our back door that leads to the backyard that overlooks all of L.A. He runs as far as he can and we follow him.
"ZACHARY HAS A DATE WITH VANESSA!" Screams Daniel at the top of his lungs. At that exact movement I get a text from Vanessa.
V-wait what?
Is it actually possible for her to have heard what Daniel just said. I start freaking out. Then I get a second text.
V-oops sorry Zach didn't mean to text you that
My heart rate slows. I was actually about to kill Daniel. I show him the text.
"Well my dude all I can say is, you know you like her." And pats me on the shoulder.
