Secret Spot

Vanessa's POV

The waiter comes back with our food and as he walks away he turns to wink at me. When I glance at Zach his hands are balled into first again. I blush a little but try to hide it best as possible. I will not date zach. 

We eat quickly and then we continue to walk the streets on Hollywood. We wander around for so long.

"Okay have you had enough of Hollywood yet?" He asks. I nod in response.

"Great now it's time for my favorite spot. C'mon." He says. We get back in the car and drive. We talk about him and the bands music mostly. They are so good. They just released an EP called invitation. The songs are all amazing of course. We finally get to where Zach's secret spot is. At least I think we do. We've been driving in the woods for a few minutes but he just parked the car. We get out. Zach goes to the trunk and pulls out a picnic basket and his guitar. 

"Zachary Dean Herron what is this?" I say surprised. I knew he planned stuff for today but this was more than I expected. 

"Can't a guy take a pretty girl to his secret spot and treat her to dinner and a concert?" He asks. This is adorable and I love it. I hate that I love it. He is good.

He takes my hand and leads me to a little picnic bench behind some bushes to reveal a cute little pond. This so beautiful. We sit down across from each other. 

"A sandwich for the lady." He says pulling out the pb&j sandwhich he had for me. He also pulls out an orange juice pouch. I take them fri his hands.

"What is this even?" I say still surprised by all of this.

"Tell me about yourself." He says taking a bite of his sandwhich. 

"What do you want to know?" I ask.

"Anything. Everything." 

"Well my full name is Vanessa Skye. I'm 15 years old. And uhh I'm trying to start a music career." I say.

"Really? Can you sing me something?" He asks and begin that think of what song to sing then it hits me.

"Uhh okay, may I-" I say pointing to his guitar. He hands it over to me. 

I begin to strum the sing. It's Little Do You Know by Alex and Sierra. I usually don't sing that sing because it's a speacial song to me. When I finished he's starts clapping like crazy. I blush and laugh at his goofiness. 

"You're amazing. Really I mean why are you not famous yet?" I laugh. 

"Thanks. That's why I'm out here. I want to showcase my voice. I just..." I don't continue.

"What is it? Did you come out for another reason?" He asks. 

I sit there and look at the ground unable to decide if I should tell him or not. He gets up to sit next to me. His arm wraps around my body and I feel his warmth in me.

"You can tell me. I'm here for you." He says. I look up at him or faces only about 2 inches away. He moves a piece of my hair behind my ear and smiles. 

"Zach..."

Ayeeeee cliff hanger. Why did she come out? (I love leaving people on cliffhangers but I hate when I'm left on one) you guys might find out soon it could the next chapter or in 5 or 10 who knows (I actually don't know when I'm just going with what feels right)
