Target Runs and Surprises

Vanessa's POV

*Skip to the night they are back at the wdw house*

The beach was fun. I haven't talked to Zach again. If people think I'm going to date him they are out of their minds.

Don't get me wrong from what I know Zach is a great guy but I just can't date. Not now at least.

We are all in the kitchen. I look at the clock. It's 10:57. Seems like an okay time to be craving s'mores.

"I WANT S'MORES!" I blurt out to the group.

"Me too!" agrees Christina. We always crave the same foods its actually kinda freaky.

"Alright let's go get the things then." Says Corbyn picking up car keys and heading out the door. Not everyone will fit so only Corbyn, Christina, Zach and I are going.

When we get there we spilt up. Zach and I go to get the marshmallows and chocolate. Corbs and Christina get the graham crackers and sticks to roast the marshmallows.

I pick up one of the shopping baskets and walk with Zach to find the goods. We still don't talk. I feel like things are awkward again.

"So we're still going sightseeing tomorrow?" he asks.
"Yea! But I'm not paying for this tour." I say.
"That's going to be a problem then." We laugh. Zach's a funny guy.

No! That may be true but no boys! We reach the marshmallows first. Zach reaches for the regular sized ones and I pull his hand back.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I shout to him.
"We need to jumbo marshmallows Zach. Those are HUGE!!!" I say grabbing those instead.

"I'm sorry I wasn't educated on marshmallow picking." Zach says once the jumbo marshmallows are in the basket. I also add the super mini ones. Zach's looks at me questioningly.

"What? They're adorable!" I protest.
He laughs at me and we go to get the chocolate.

"What shall we get oh wise one." says Zach to me.

I stare at the chocolates in front of me. I decide on the Hershey milk chocolate bars.

"These are the ones!" I say placing them in the basket.

"Good choice, good choice." Zach's says and applauds me. I laugh at him and we head to the checkout to where we see Corbyn and Christina.

"Oh shoot! I also wanted to get gum!" says Corbyn. We're about to pay so he leaves.

"Wait! I want some too!" I say running after him. We reach the aside with him and each grab a pack of trident.

"So you and Zach?" asks Corbyn out of nowhere. I'm closest to my bean but did not think he'd bring Zach up.

"Corbyn you know what happened." I say. He's the only one of the boys who knows. He's also sworn to not say anything to any of them.

"Yea but Zach is a good guy."

"What has Christina said to him?" I ask. I seriously need to know.

"She's just talked about how nice and sweet and funny you are. She's always talking you up. She's actually told Zach that she thinks you two would be cute together."

"WHAT?WHEN?" I ask. I had no clue she'd mention something like that to him.

"A while ago. I guess he's realizing she was right. He couldn't stop talking about how pretty he thought you were last night." Said Corbyn.

Wow. But I can't. I'm not ready.

"We should head back." I say wanting to avoid talking about Zach and I any more.

We walk back and pay for our gum.

*skip drive home*

We get to the house and Christina is jittery. She's hiding something I think as I open the front door to the boys house.

On the other side I see my hometown Bestie Valentina. I scream and run to hug her.

"VAL YOU'RE HERE!" I shout.

"Actually...IM MOVING IN!!!" She shouts.

"WHAT?" I ask in shock. This is crazy.

"Christina set this up. I'm living with you and Christina in L.A now!" She says. I hug her even tighter and were screaming.

Then we let go and I hug Christina.
"I LOVE YOU! YOUR THE BEST!" I say squealing.

"ARE WE HAVING S'MORES OR NOT?" asks Jonah and everyone just laughs. Leave to Jonah to bring up food in this beautiful moment.
