I don't like him

Vanessa's POV

There's a knock on my door and I rush to get it. Today Zach is taking me sight seeing. I am wearing a maroon crop top and high waisted washed out shorts. Along with that I have on my Adidas superstars on and a white kind of baseball cap. I swing the door open to see a zach Herron on the other side. He, of course, is in some black jeans and a black t-shirt with some white vans. He looks kinda cute. NO BRAIN HE IS NOT CUTE. YOU CAN NOT LIKE HIM.

"Hi." He says braking the silence. 

"Hey."

"Ready to go?" He asks and extends his hand for me to hold. I don't want to be sucked into his charm. 

"Yep." I say and instead of taking his hand walk around him and towards the car. 

"Well first we'll get the regular tourist stuff done and then I'll show you a my favorite spot to go to." He says. Zach starts up the car and turns on the radio. Sign of the times by Harry styles is playing. The song was only a few seconds in. We don't say anything for a few seconds. Zach starts humming along with the song and I smile. He notices and when the song gets to the chorus he starts belting the lyrics and shaking his head. He's going crazy. I laugh at him and he nudges me to join him in his belting. I sing along not going as crazy as him but still having fun. The song finally comes to an end and we laugh. Zach pulls to a parking space and we get out of the car.

"First stop, the Hollywood sign!" Announces zach. He pulls out two bottles of water. 

"Let's get going." I say. We begin to hike up to the sign. It takes us about an hour to reach the top. 

"It's amazing up here." I say in awe. The view is spectacular.

"I thought you'd like it." He says smiling and tugs me closer to him so that my arm rubs against his. A tingling sensation runs through my body. I take a few steps forward to get away from him. I can't like him. He follows as I walk around the sign. 

"Well this is amazing but I think I'm over it. What's the next stop?" I ask Zach eager to find out what's next. 

"Well of course the Hollywood walk of fame. We're having lunch at a restaurant over there too. Great food."

"Good cause I'm starved." I say and we walk down. By the time we get to the walk of fame it's 1:00. I really am starved.

"Well here's the walk of fame. One day my name will be on one of these stars." Says Zach as we walk around looking for the restaurant. 

"Oh really? Is that supposed to impress me?" I ask. I'm not flirting I try to tell myself the second I realized it sounded like I was.

"Maybe." He says and winks at me as we turn the corner to enter the restaurant. I just want to melt in his arms. I can't and won't. Get a grip Vanessa. 

We take a seat at one of the tables across from each other. This place looks so good. It's not really a restaurant it's more like a cafe thing. The waiter comes over and he looks my age. He asks for our order. Zach gets an egg and cheese sandwich and I go for the ceaser salad. 

"Anything for you." Say the waiter and winks at me before turning around. Eww. Yes he's my age but like I keep saying I'm not dating anyone now. I can't. I look at Zachary and he's staring down the waiter. When I look at his hands I can see that they are in fist. Awww. NO NOT AWWW. I don't like Zach...I mean it. I have to.
