I (Levi's POV)

It was a damp rainy morning when I managed to pull myself out of the confines of my bed, readying my mind to face a fresh school day. I wasn't looking forward to it, and the fact that I hadn't slept added to that discomfort. I showered, styled my hair, and dressed. Finally tidying my room so it was impeccable, before leaving the warmth of my room.

"Levi-bro!! Morning!" My sister cheered, turning away from the TV with a devilish grin, and a brief wave. My brother, Furlan, also took some time to acknowledge me, tearing his eyes away from the book that had captivated him these last few weeks. He bought it with his little savings he earned from his job. He rented our apartment, you see; I was still a student, and so was Izzy. Furlan was the only one who's graduated so far, as an engineer, so he pays for the majority of our things. I also chip in when able.

"Morning..." grumbling, I slid down onto the couch beside them to tie my shoes. "You aren't staying?" They questioned me, to which I shook my head "No. I have an early lecture."
"Okay... well... be safe getting there, and make sure you eat."
"Mmh, make sure you aren't late too, and you, if you get another detention, I'm taking your phone away."
"Buuuutttt broooo~" she whined.
"No buts." I slipped her a £5 note to buy her lunch with and headed out the apartment complex, trudging down the early morning streets, void of activity.

I'd normally stay with them for longer, but today's lecture started half an hour early, therefor I had no choice.

On my way, I stopped at a small café and picked up a pastry and got a drink. I'd need it to get through this lecture. It'd be overly long and laborious, since we needed to struggle through this to be able to move onto the final, and most valuable topic, before our exams. And since my dark circles portrayed my state, I'd need the caffeine to blunder on. Even if I didn't learn everything, with the notes I could revise it later on.

Once I arrived, I soldiered on through the lesson, taking notes when necessary and resisting the urge to strangle Hange. It was incredibly difficult. She was constantly in my ear saying things about our old ass teacher. He even smelt of old people I once learned, consequently why I sit at the back. Not pleasant. And from here, you also wouldn't get spit-balled, or be coughed on.

"Woooo! Doneee~" Hange cheered and stretched showing her relief as the bell tolled, signalling our period had finished. It was about damn time, my legs ached from sitting for so long. I rolled my shoulders and flexed my hands, to return the feeling to them. Hange proceeded to collect her things together. She turned to me goofily, stood up and ushered me to follow.

We were soon in the open, on a bench among our friends: Eld, Gunter, Petra, Oluo, and unfortunately not Mike. He did say he would meet us today, however he's yet to show. Honestly, even if he didn't show, the grateful feeling of being out of those crowded corridors that were filled with dirt and grime stopped me from feeling anger. Lately, the reason he hasn't been showing up with us is because he's been hanging around with a tall, stuck-up blonde. He was never the type to fit in with populars, so I just have to think it's an experience for him.

"I miss Mike... I wish he'd show...." I rolled my eyes at Hange's comment, disregarding the fact that I thought the same. "Shitty glasses, you sound like a winey, clingy girlfriend. Shut up for five minutes and have some damn patients."
"But Lee.." Petra started "you know... how much Mike means to Hange, even how she feels.. I mean she must miss him.."

I couldn't argue with her, Petra reminded me too much of a little sister, never mind the fact that what she said about Hanji's feelings for him was no word of a lie. Petra was hinting at the fact Hange likes Mike. It was crystal clear when you saw how she blushed around him, and how she played with her fingers. And it was also clear the feelings were mutual. Mike often stuttered and got embarrassed. They were a mess. A real mess. Both were socially awkward misfits. Perfect for each other if they could ever get there.

"Lets change the topic." Eld suggested with a kind smile, sitting between Hange and I. "How's your love life Levi? I haven't heard you talk about a new man in a few months."
"I don't want a love life. They're hard work." I audibly huffed and the air stilled, awkwardly. No one said a word for a few minutes until Mike, and his cronie showed up.
"Sorry we're late!" The shorter of the two giants said "Mr. Stone kept us back for extra work." I heard Mike hum in agreement and a few friends exchanged hugs with him. Hanji did, and both of the idiots blushed. They really were hopeless romantics.

Following some normal conversation about how everyone was, Mike burst out after a silent conversation between himself and Erwin.
"Oh! Erwin! Didn't you have something to ask Levi!?" Erwin became visibly stiff, and angry, but followed it on to face me. "Yeh.. erm Levi, I was wondering if you'd like to go out to dinner with me. And so we don't go alone 'Mike' and 'Hanji' can tag along. Call it a double date?" Emphasis was put on the two names, and I was left a little dumbfounded. He was gay!? Wait. No way. No fucking way. He had a girlfriend, I was sure of it. In fact I'd seen him with her. Before I could answer though, the visibly embarrassed Hanji cheered and nodded, hugging me and mumbling things like "grumpy kitty got a date!!!" Stupid fucking glasses... I guess we'd see how this went.

//hey! It's me! I would have written more, however I need to switch to Erwin's POV so his little thing with Mike will make sense~ until soon :)//
