II (Erwin's POV)

"Come on Win." Mike pleaded, pulling on my arm. "You're the one who suggested the double date in the first place~ it's your idea. A-And, Levi could be your little experiment." It was true, I was Bi, however I'd never been with a man, only one woman, and that was the woman I was with now. Eva. "Mike. I have somebody."
"Then just be there for moral support? Please. And take him with you? It doesn't even have to be a real date, and he can know. I'm sure he'll support Hange."

A short mental battle later, I agreed, murmuring my answer. I didn't want to mess up things with the guy who I'd been crushing on since my first year, a guy who may or may not have been in my wank bank often. "If you mess this up, though, then don't expect me to be your wing man again. After what happened with Susie, I don't want to be involved with your schemes."
"I swear Win. I'm going to be confident about this. Because.. my feelings for Hange aren't just like when you see a hot woman."
"Hmm."

And that's how Mike convinced me to go on a date with Levi. That's how.. and when we got to his friends, what did he go and do? He went and blabbered. Shit. So then I had to take the fall for him, and receive the harsh puncture from Levi's menacing glare. He didn't even answer me, which I was quite taken back with, but at least he was going. I was more than expecting to get flat out rejected. It's almost unheard of, Levi on a date. He has flings with people, most were aware of, but he didn't seem like the date type.

Mike pulled me away with him, which brought me out of my daze. I gave him a clout around the head, suppressing a laugh when the sound was loud yet compressed, like a bat hitting a baseball. "I'm going to be confident!" I grumbled, mocking him. He accepted the abuse I gave him as repents for his shyness and clumsiness. "You're lucky she's who she is, otherwise if she were someone like Alison, she wouldn't give you a second glance." 
"I don't go for popular girls because I know my chances, Erwin. Besides, a lot of them are too demanding. You should know this. From Eva."
"Don't. I'm going to end things with her."
"That's going to be rough man, you've been with her for about 3 years. Do it gently."
"I'm not a barbaric monster of course I'll do it gently. I was thinking I'd take her to her dorm and tell her how it is. That I'm interested in other people and want to experience the world and what's out there before I give my heart away. I mean she thinks we're going to get married for gods sake! And if it wasn't for other things, I don't want that yet."
"Yeh, marriage is tough. Maybe in three or so years at earliest. Anyway, I have class, and you have to go and baby sit Lou, so I'll see you tonight."

With a wink and finger guns, mike disappeared behind a wall, leading into block two, where his meds teacher awaited. And with that I made my way down the cobble path, through the back entrance. As I was walking home, I stopped to give a bird some of the sandwich I was eating. The animal was scrawny and seemingly ill, so I had to help. Whenever I saw an animal in need I had to help. I did this a lot, stop on my way to or from uni to feed or pet an animal. I also sat on a bench and admired the scenery of the lake I was nearby, before the sky began to weep.

"Winnie~! Hurry upppp!" Lou cried, waving her arms in the door to the school. I apologised for taking so long, but it was due to the rain. It was hammering down now. I hoisted her onto my shoulders and had her hold the umbrella over us, to shield us from the torrent.

I shook my wet shoes off, as did Lou once we arrived home. And lucky for us, it seemed as though mum had preempted our arrival and left the log fire on. Neither of us needed to change, despite the weather, luckily, because that would have been a chore. "Lou, how was school. Did you enjoy it?"

"Mmh! Very much so! I didn't get annnyyy homework! Anddd~ we can watch movies to top it off."
"You're right! We can. But, only three."
She threw me a questioning glance and with a pout, asked why.
"Well, my dear, that's because best bro Win has a date."
"Finally! Wooo! Cheers!" She joked, laughing "I don't like Eva. So, who is it? Is she pretty? Can I meet her?"
"Erm.. he is beautiful and one day, maybe you can." 
"He! Winnie! Show me a picture! I didn't know you like guys! Let me critique your taste." She gave me a joking nudge as I pulled my phone out. She saw the picture of Levi and giggled, scrolling through his social media. "He looks scary lol, he is pretty, but he looks scary." I chuckled and agreed "haha yep, he does look that way, but I've been assured he really is a sweetheart when he gets to know him."
"You make him sound like a grumpy stray cat."
"In fact, his nickname is grumpy kitty so you aren't far from it."

Sitting on the comfy leather sofa, she pulled a movie out, slid it into the Xbox. Since the couch was cold when you first rested on it, I wrapped us both up in a blanket, snug as a bug, watching finding Nemo. A classic family tail and one that Lou adored. I had to do my best for Lou, since my family weren't exactly.. perfect for me when I grew up, but I would do my best for Liv. Even though she was a stepsister, and I only saw her some of the time, she was as close as a real sister who you see every day.

I felt her head rock down on my arm, and smiled, ruffling her hair. "Don't fall asleep yet kiddo, we still have another two movies."
