Tough Love: A Rydellington love story

Chapter 4

RYDEL'S POV

"Okay guys we still have one more interview before we can go." Mark stated

"Where is it at?"Riker asked

"Well its for Clever TV" Mark answered.

"Sounds fun!"Riker said with some excitement.

I honestly just want to go home. I want to take long warm bubble bath and then get in my warm cozy bed. And watch a movie.

"Okay, we are almost there. Listen guys, especially you two" he said pointing at me and Ellington.

"Why us?" I asked

"Because, ya'll flirt so much, its not even funny!" Rocky said.

"No we don't, Ellington has a girlfriend!" I stated

"Well......" Ellington weezed

"What did you do?" We all asked at the same time.

"I broke up with Kelly after we got done with the first interview." Ell said

"Are you okay?" I asked

"I am fine, it was for the better!" Ellington said

"If you need anything i'm here for, you know that you can talk to me about anything. Okay you know that right." I told him while my hand on his knee.

"Yeah buddy we are all here for you!" Ryland stated.

"Were here!" My mom said with excitement.

"Thanks guys!!" Ellington said while stepping out of the van.

We stepped in the studio. And got in our seats. It was me and Riker in the back then Ratliff, Ross, then Rocky. The interviewer came in and greated all of us. We start in 5,4,3,2,

"Hey guys you are watching Clever TV and i'm here today with R5" the nice interviewer stated. Then we went around the room and told them our names and what we do in the band. "Now we are gonna answer some twitter questions, if that's okay with ya'll." She said and looked at us.

"Sounds good to us" "I love twitter questions" We all say

"Well okay then, first question Who is the biggest flirt in the group?"

"Ratliff" we all answered.

"And why is that?" she asked.

"He is a chick magnet!" Ross says. 

"He seriously flirts with every girl he sees." Rocky adds

"Okay next Who is single in the group?"

 We all raised our hands.

"Haha okay last one, What color hair do ya'll like best on a girl or guy."

"Dirty blonde" i answered.

"It doesn't matter to me" Ross said with a little pride, and Riker and Rocky agreed.

"Ratliff likes red heads." I said.

"Okay i don't only like redheads" he stated.

 "I better go die my hair red" i said at the same time he answered. "

" Oh my gosh!" Ross yelled.

"They do this all the time!" Riker said.

"Wait do what? What did you say?" Ratliff asked me.

"I said i better go die my hair red"

"oh how funny!" He said in a goofy tone.

 After that the interviewer just asked us a few more questions then we thanked her, loaded the van and went home. The ride home was very loud! We were all hyper from the candy they had backstage of the interview. But i fell asleep on the way home, i really don't know how with all the commotion. But i did, i fell asleep on Ratliff's shoulder. I guess he didn't care cause he never moved my head.

ELLINGTON'S POV

Rydel is asleep on my shoulder. I didn't move her, because one she was so peaceful and she looks adorable when she is sleeping. And two why would i , i don't mind. She started to shake and she looked like she was sweating.

"Riker l, what is happening." I say in kind of a panic and hit him

"RATLIFF NOO!!" Rydel screamed

"I dont know but wake her up!!" Riker said.

I quickly shook her awake. She looked at me and started to tear up. "It's okay i'm right here. Dont worry!" I said and gave her a big hug. She hugged back kind of hard. I don't know what happened but i kind of want to know. I mean she screamed my name.

"Rydel your okay, your okay, I'm right here." I say because she was crying now.

"What happen?" Ross asked

"I don't want to talk about it" Rydel states between sobs

"Will you talk to me about it later?" I whisper in her ear.

She shakes her head yes.

After a good 10 more minutes in the car, and Rydel laying on my shoulder again, but not sleeping. Our fingers are intwined because she is still shaking a little, so i thought i would hold her hand to calm her down. It worked.

"Hey Ratliff since it is already 10:45 would you just like to spend the night, i all ready texted your mom she said that was fine" Stormie asked me.

"Sure, thanks!" I said as we were pulling up to their house.

I let go of Rydel's hand. And she gave me a worried look. "It's okay, i'm fine." I tell her.

"Ellington some here." Stormie told me.

"Yes ma'am?" I asked.

" i am gonna let you sleep with Rydel. I dpn't kbow what it's about, but i know she felt a lot better when you grabbed her hand. I trust you so don't do any funny business." She explained

"Okay sounds good. And don't worry i am not like that!"

"I know, you are a good kid." She stated. "Okay go, she looks like she is about to cry again." She added. I looked at Rydel that was looking for me. I walked over to her and hugged her.

"Don't worry okay! I am right here" i explained and kissed her forehead.

She dried her tears.

"Come on lets go talk" i told her.

She nodded and followed me.

Okay Delly, so what happen in your dream" i told her. We were sitting in her room and she was on my lap.

"We were doing an interview and Kelly came in crying and yelling at me because she thought I was trying to break ya'll up so i could have you to myself. I explained to her that we were just really good friends. And we would never date because that would be wierd. She didn't beleive me. So she pulled out a gun and pointed at you. And she shot it. And that's when you woke me up." Rydel explained.

I was speechless, I know we are best friends but I was actually hoping she had some feelings to me. Guess not.... Then  she started to cry again so I hugged her tightly and whispered.

"It was not your fault why we broke up. Nothing was your fault. It was my decision."

She looks at me and hugged me and straddled me. I fell back in the bed l, and with that we got under that covers. With my arm around her and layed down. I was almost asleep when she leaned over and whispered "I love you" i looked at her and said " i love you to" and kissed her foreheand . And with that we fell asleep.
