Nicole's POV

We quiclkly walked down to take our luggage. I helped Kevin, then we went outside. Our father was right there. When Kevin noticed him, he began to run towards him. He was so happy. They were both happy. I slowly walked there. I waved and tried to smile, but that was all. I hope he doesn't expect me to  hug him, to tell him 'Oh I love you so much daddy, i've missed you' and stuff like that. I'm not ready for that. I don't think I'll ever be.

"So, how was the flight?"He asked us, as we walked to the car.

"Great. Imagine daddy, I'm not affraid of the flights anymore." Kevin yelled excitedly.

"How so?" He asked confused.

"Well, we met some really kind boys who helped me during the whole flight. It's trully not that scary" Kevin said smiling.

"IS this true, Nicole?" Dad asked looking at me.

"Yes. Kevin has become very brave" I said.

"That's amazing Kiddo. I'm proud of you" He high-fived him. Seriously? Oh boy...

I got in the car remaining silent for the rest of the way. Then we arrived to his fancy, big house. It was in the middle of London. I've already known the city, so I probably won't get lost. It was cold, of course. You couldn't see the sun because of the clouds. Yaay!

"Which is my room?" I asked.

"Upstairs, second door. Kevin, yours will be right next to hers" My dad said.

"Great" I said an I quickly ran upstairs to my room. It was big and white, with huge windows. There was a wardrobe and a seperate bathroom. I walked to my cupboard. It was filled with pictures about me and my family. I saw a picture which was taken at Christmas, before my dad left. I realised that this picture was only a fake so I threw it in the trash. I didn't even notice that my father was standing right beside me.

"Why did you throw it away?" He asked confused.

"Because it isn't real. We're not a family anymore" I said, not looking at him at all.

"Just because we're not together with your mom, that doesn't mean I'm not your father or I don't love you." He said slowly, taking his hand on my shoulder.

"You last me when you left." I said

"Nicole! You're my daughter and I love you! I want to be a part of your life" He whispered.

"I wanted too. You told that you'll always be there for me, but you weren't. You left me!" I shouted with tears in my eyes. I wasn't able to continue this. I turned around and ran out of the house. Luckily it wasn't raining. I ran as fast as I just could, not knowing where I was going. I suddenly noticed a park. I decided to ran there. There was silence. Only a few people walked around there. I found a quiete place where I could sit down, letting my tears to run down on my cheeks.

"Nicole, is it you?" I suddenly  heard a familiar voice. I quickly wiped off my tears. I hate when people see me crying. I looked around and I saw Liam's worried face right in front of me.

"Oh. Hello Liam" I tried to put a weak smile on my face, but I probably failed.

"Nicole love, what happened?" He asked concerned.

"Nothing" I lied, trying again to smile.

"You know when people say 'nothing' they possibly have a big problem. So tell me, what's wrong? I promise I won't tell anybody". He sounded so honest. But why is he so kind?

"Well, it's really complicated" I began

"Just tell me" He tried to encourage me.

"My parents divorced when I was 14. My father just left. I couldn't forgive him. He promised me that he'll always be there next to me, but he wasn't. He left me. He left us. Now I'm staying at him during the summer holiday. He thinks that everything will be the same, but I can't act like that. He doesn't know anything about me." I explained him as a teardrop ran down on my cheek. He quickly took it away with his finger.
