New Kid

Jaeden Lieberher has always been shy, even at his former school. Now its even worse at his new one. It's his first day, nobody's ever talked to him unless they were making idiotic jokes about his hair or clothing. He could never open his locker so he ended up carrying every single one of his textbooks. Now its time for his first eighth grade gym class. He would have to change in front of several other guys...Yeah this'll suck. Jaeden slowly walked the school corridors looking for the gym. He was always scared to ask someone where a certain class was. The bell rung throughout the school. Jaeden spotted a girl with short red hair. She was the only one in the hall and Jaeden didn't want to be late to gym on his first day. He walked towards her slowly.

"Excuse me? Can you tell me where the gym is?" Jaeden asks nicely

"Its outside near the cafeteria." She says "I'm Sophia."

"Jaeden." Jaeden introduces himself

"Are you new?" Sophia asks

"Yeah, This is my first day." Jaeden replies

"Well, here's some advice. Don't use the second floor restroom, that's where the crack heads hang out at. Also if you have Mrs. Andrew for Math I suggest you get your schedules changed." Sophia says

"Thanks, I'll see you around." Jaeden says and walks towards the gym.

After Jaeden final found the gym he was already late. He ran into the locker room and felt alot of eyes turn on him. He trie d his best to ignore them and changed into his gym clothes.

"Are you new?" A voice asks behind him.

He turns around and is faced by a huge head of red curls.

"Yeah... This is my first day." Jaeden mumbles

"Have you made any friends yet?" The boy asks

Jaeden shakes his head. "Whenever I go somewhere everyone just stares at me weird so I never speak."

"Well now you have your first friend... I'm Wyatt." He says

"I'm Jaeden."

"Jaeden? Sounds like a girl name." A different voice came from a certain length away.

"Go fuck yourself Leslie." Wyatt says and the whole locker room laughed.

"Thanks." Jaeden says quietly

"Don't worry about it, our school is filled with jerks." Wyatt says and they left the locker room.

*Lunch*

Jaeden sat alone at Lunch. He expected this to happen. He was going to sit with Wyatt but several other guys were with him. He began to eat his Turkey sandwich that his mom packed when someone sat across from him.

"Sup new kid." Sophia says laying her lunch on the table

"Hey..."

"You looked lonely, so here I am." Sophia grins

Jaeden laughs. "You don't have to sit with me. I'm used to sitting alone."

"Well, too bad new kid, I'm sitting here." Sophia begins to eat her lunch

Jaeden shakes his head smiling and blushing a bit and eats his sandwich.
