The next day-Friday- wasn't very enjoyable for Jaeden, his day began to get bad during gym. He was in the locker rooms getting dressed when the doors busted open and Sophia stomped in. Jaeden was shirtless so he quickly threw his t-shirt on over his bare chest and looked at Sophia.
"Why are you in here?" He asks quickly
"Did you tell my parents that I was at your house last night?" Sophia asks
"No, why would I-" Jaeden was cut off by the same jerkish voice as last time.
"You two were together last night? Did anything intense happen?" He says
"No, but I'm sure something 'intense' happened with your mom." Sophia snaps
The boy walks closely to Sophia and stands there for a moment as if thinking of what to do next, but what he did do was completely uncalled for. He slammed his right fist directly into Sophia's cheek causing her to fall to the hard floor. Before Jaeden even knew what was happening he realized he had done slammed his fists repeatedly into this guy. Jaeden was hardly hurt after the fight but ended up with a bloody nose but that was nothing compared to the other guy, His eye had turned purple, his nose was dripping blood, and his lip was puffed. Wyatt finally pulled the boys apart and Sophia dragged Jaeden and Wyatt out of the locker room.
"Are you okay?" Jaeden asks Sophia.
"I'm fine, are you okay?" Sophia asks looking at Jaeden's bloody nose
Jaeden nods. Sophia smiles. "Thank You." She wraps her arms around his neck and he returns the favor.
"It's not cool to hit girl." Jaeden whispers and Sophia laughs.
"Let's ditch the rest of gym and go to the nurse." Wyatt says suddenly.
"Do not tell the nurse what happened, just say I was hit with a ball during gym." Jaeden says while pulling away from Sophia. "I don't want to be expelled on my second day."
"Yeah, that probably wouldn't look good on a permanent record." Wyatt says as the trio began walking towards the nurse's office.
"Permanent records are so fake, adults just tell kids about their 'permanent record' to make them behave." Sophia says walking alongside Jaeden. Wyatt was in front.
"How do you know?" Jaeden asks suddenly
"I just do." Sophia shrugs and quietly slips her hand into Jaeden's. Jaeden felt a light shade of red appearing on his cheeks.
