Jaeden wakes up when he hears a certain someone stand up off the bed. He sits up and sees Sophia stepping over Wyatt's sleeping body on the ground and opens the window.
"Leaving so soon?" Jaeden asks. Sophia jumps, startled.
"Don't do that! I almost had a heart attack...you trying to kill me new kid?" Sophia asks leaning against the window seal.
"Sorry, and I thought we agreed that I was no longer known as 'new kid'?" Jaeden says and gets off his bed, walking over to where Sophia stood.
"You know you look adorable when you're tired." Sophia laughs, messing with Jaeden's hair.
"Thanks? I think." Jaeden smiles
"You're very welcome." Sophia grins looking into Jaeden's beautiful green eyes. Time slows down, Jaeden leans in, the fire haired girl and green eyed boy's lips connect. Their eyes closed then opened once again when Sophia pulled away.
"I-I need to get home." She says, taking one last glance at the very confused Jaeden then climbs out the window. Jaeden stands there for a moment...he wonders if that was a bad move...did Sophia feel differently about him now? Would she still speak to him at school? Would she still sneak into his window every night? Millions of these questions flooded through his mind as Wyatt stirred awake. He sits up and looks at Jaeden.
"Everything okay?" He asks sleepily
No....
"Y-Yeah, everything's fine." Jaeden says and climbs back into his bed staring at the roof. He sighs then drifts back to sleep.
