Lunch

Monday went pretty well for Jaeden, he still hadn't talked to Sophia since Saturday. He was currently at his locker dropping off his books. (Yes, he had learned how to open his locker.) He began to walk to lunch quietly and alone. Once he entered the cafeteria laughs and voices exploded inside his ears. He spotted Sophia at a table with alot of different girls. Then he saw Wyatt at a table waving at him to come sit. Jaeden sighed and made his way over. He didn't even reach the table when he heard: "JAEDEN!" He quickly turned around and saw Sophia running towards him. She slung her arms around his small neck and embraced him tightly. He was shocked at first but he soon returned the favor. She pulled away and stared at him.

"I haven't seen you in forever!" She says

"It's been two days." Jaeden laughs.

"Well, it seems like forever. We need to talk, come." Sophia drags Jaeden to an empty table and sits across form him.

"So?" He asks awkwardly.

"So, who are you planning on taking to homecoming next week?" Sophia asks grinning

"I-I don't know, I haven't exactly thought about homecoming." Jaeden replies.

"Oh. Well who will you take?" Sophia asks

"Um..." Jaeden pretends to think for a moment but already knew the answer...he was afraid to ask. Maybe it won't be so bad...

"Come on! Spit it out!" Sophia says excitedly

Jaeden quietly sighs. "W-Will you? Will you go with me?"

"I was really hoping that's what you were gonna say. YES!" Sophia practically screams that last part. She jumps up from the table and wraps her skinny arms around Jaeden once again. He smiles widely and returns the hug. She pulls away and looks into his tiny green orbs and finally decides to return the favor from the other night. She cups Jaeden's face in her hands and press her lips to his...he does the same, smiling into the kiss.
