It was Saturday night and Wyatt had decided to spend the night at Jaeden's house for the first time. Jaeden's mostly stayed quiet and drew in his notebook. Wyatt sat in Jaeden's desk chair and played on his iPhone. The boys then heard a light knock on the window and the window was cracked open.
"Gah! Intruder!" Wyatt screams and grabs the stapler off Jaeden's desk for protection.
"Chill dude, it's just me." Sophia Lillis says as she climbs into Jaeden's bedroom and closes the window behind her. She starts laughing when she sees Wyatt. "Were you gonna staple me to death?"
"It was the first thing I saw okay." Wyatt says offended.
Sophia jumps into Jaeden's bed beside him and looks at his notebook.
"You're not phased that she just randomly showed up at your house?" Wyatt asks Jaeden.
Jaeden shrugs. "She does it all the time."
"I do." Sophia nods
"Are you two dating now or....?" Wyatt asks
"No! We're just friends." Sophia says with blush appearing on her cheeks.
"Yeah, we're just friends." Jaeden says and felt his cheeks burning also.
Wyatt snickers and holds up his hands in surrender. "Okay okay."
"Oh, Jae do you think you could draw me again? My stupid mom tore the other one." Sophia asks quietly
"Um, sure...hey you didn't call me new kid." Jaeden realized
"Do you want me to call you new kid?" Sophia giggles
"No thanks." Jaeden says and turns to a clean page in his notebook.
"Get a room." Wyatt says to Sophia and Jaeden.
"We're already in a room noodle head." Sophia throws a pillow at Wyatt.
"Well in that case, should I go home?" Wyatt jokes
"Nope, have you even seen Jaeden's insane artwork?" Sophia asks watching Jaeden draw over his shoulder.
"Not really. I see him drawing all the time but I've never actually seen the results." Wyatt says
"Well it's amazing." Sophia slings her arm over Jaeden's shoulders playfully.
Jaeden looks up at Sophia and looks at her face details. She had small bits of freckles splattered around her cheeks. Her eyes were a beautiful color of blue, and it was just perfect. Jaeden realized he was staring so he looked back at his unfinished drawing. He adds the last eyelash then hands the notebook to Sophia. She grins
"It's even better than the last one." Sophia says and hugs Jaeden. Jaeden grins and hugs her back.
"Is it okay if I stay the night here with you guys? My parents are being assholes." Sophia says
"S-Sure I guess it wouldn't hurt." Jaeden replies grinning
"Cool. Do you maybe have any clothes I could borrow?" She asks
"I have some sweatpants and a T-shirt that might fit you." Jaeden says as he grabs some clothes from his dresser drawers.
"Thanks." Sophia says and goes to the corner of the room. "A little privacy?"
The boys turn their gaze away from the red haired girl and she gets dressed. The clothes were baggy but baggy in a cute way. Sophia yawns.
"Let's go to bed." Jaeden says and sits on his bed. Sophia easily walks over and climbs into Jaeden bed beside him and closes her eyes. Wyatt laughs and Jaeden shrugs as he lyes beside her and soon falls asleep.
