I woke up to slow pulling on my shirt and I turn around finding Nani chuckling
Nani: get up time to pack
as he stand up
El: already?
he nods and walks out I grab the little backpack and a note falls out I look at curiously and grab it I open it and I scan over the words reading the date this is the day before I escaped and it from nani it reads
" Hey little one since I couldn't come with you like you wanted me too I just wrote a little letter just to remember me bye I guess don't get into any trouble live with every breathe you have
sincerely your truly, Nani"
I giggled from the word and took the letter out of my shoe I sighed and stuffed it neatly into my back pocket not knowing I stopped smiling I shook my head out of my thoughts
El: mom and dad ill keep my word to keep my code name and never tell a soul about my real name
as I close my eyes and slowly whispering those word i start to pack up old drawings and my clothes I escaped with I walk out of old room and into my parents room closing the door behind me I look around as the dim morning light shines through the old moldy glass I tried finding things to remember my parents as I use my second ability old memories start to morph back seeing my parents and me playing around I move my hands to the right and the memories fade away as new ones come forth seeing my parents hug crying as they drop to there knees I move my hand the other direction as my hands drop down the image fades away I look into the closet of my parents only finding a box I pull it out finding books and picture I stuff them into the bag pulling out a;: gray blank jacket I tied it around my waist and headed out the room and suddenly I bump into renji I stumble back
Renji: hey...sorry about that
I rub my fore head
El: nope its okay but are we all ready
he nods and we both walk down stairs
I smiled and the guys did the same gesture I walked out of the home I used to live in walking forward I look back watching as the past starts to morph I move my hands to the right and it slowly turns into the state it is now we all walked forward never looking back
El: new home?
Renji looked at Nani and Gazi they both looked at me
Reni Gazi Nani said the same words together
"new home"
El: do you think were gonna find a new place
Gazi: the people in the war only hit part of the island so probably yes we will
a new home where no bad feeling will ever happen.
