Chapter 38: The new guy?!

We kept walking since we didn't find the ideal place near the beach

Renji: I really wanted to live near the beach though

He moped dragging his feet behind I nudged his arm he stopped

Nani: living near the beach would've been dangerous anyways right!?

I sighed and Gazi nodded

I kept looking off to the side but no one seem to notice I clicked my tongue

Lalia: what is it?

I looked over to the shadow that followed us

Lalia: don't use your power not on the being that stand before us he will not hurt you

He really is it only boys around here! Am I like the only girl here
I sighed again

Gazi: are you ok El?

I nodded in the corner of my eye I saw the figure stand there looking at us

The being that stand before us will not hurt us....right?

El: can we take a brake over there I'll catch up don't worry

Renji: we do need a break we've been walking non stop

Gazi: true

Nani: yeah...that is true

They walked ahead with my bag and I walked to the direction where the being was he ran and I chased after him

El: wait!!!

I yelled
I kept chasing him luckily I didn't have my bag it would've slowed me down I kept chasing him if I guessed correctly he is around my age I clicked my tongue and Lalia spoke

Lalia: you called

El: who is he of you speak

Lalia: stop running and he will to stop

I followed Lalia advice I stopped running gathering my breath and in the distant he also stopped and turned

I raised my hand he did the same

El: is it and illusion

Lalia: No

El: what's your name?!

I yelled

Unknown: my name? I don't have a name....!

El: don't move I'm gonna come closer okay

I took a step and he flinched I nodded with an assuring smile and when I took another step he walked closer

El: see I won't heart you

He wore warn out clothing and cuts on his hands and arm his curly hair covered most of his face and I couldn't tell what he looked like

I raised my hand and he did the same....again but this time we both put our hands together

El: see in harmless

Unknown: I guess so

He smiled a little

I advanced toward his face and moved the hair out of his face

El: woah.....

I moved my hand away from his face

El: you look like you would be an Alec to me

He look toward me but only just the hair in his face I could only see the bottom of his face

Alec: may I stay with you...?
I nodded he followed
