Birds chirped freely outside the window on this Sunday morning as I stared blankly at my bedroom walls as the ground below me thudded with loud music. The sound seemed to be seeping up from the floors, and penetrating itself into my mind.

Holy mother of god I'm gonna be stuck like this for 13 more days

     Kill me now

     Kill me now

     Kill me now

This phrase ran repeatedly over and over in my head for the next thirty minutes before I felt a heavy knuckle tapping at my door.

"Go away! Don't you know I'm being held captive in solitary confinement in this stupid room?" I shouted at the door, not caring who heard.

"Well..then I guess I'll just take my dvd player and iPhone and leave you to yourself, prisoner." Archer smiled, peeking his head in.

"Did I ever tell you your hair looks great today?" I complimented him weakly, as a gesture for him to stay and share his technology with me.

He plopped himself onto the bed, and dumped out a collection of DVDs'.

     "Whaddya wanna watch?" He asked.

"Hm...." I picked through the movies.

Transformers 3. I can't. I cry everytime I see bumblebee. That car is just so god damn beautiful.

Hellboy. Jeez, what is it with him and extraterrestrials?

The Ring. This seems do-able. Probably just a proposal movie or some shit. I'll make him suffer and watch cutesy movies with me.

"The Ring? You sure you wanna watch this movie...?" He looked at me skeptically as I nodded virgorously.

Thirty minutes into the movie and I was about ten seconds away from pissing my pants. I buried my face into Archer's shirt as the little girl began crawling out of the TV set, towards the people watching the video.

"HOLY SHIT, RUN AWAY JUST RUN!" I screamed at the screen, gripping at the edges of Archer's shirt.

I felt his arm wrap around me as he pulled me closer. The heat from his body was comforting, and pulled me back into a reality where the little creepy looking girl from the movie didn't exist. I looked up at him, getting lost in those sky blue eyes that watched the screen intently.

We had spent the rest of the day watching movies and listening to music. I discovered how much I liked being around Archer; his bubbly personality just made me wanna smile.

"Amber? Are you in your room studying?" My mom called from downstairs.

"Uh huhhhh" I answered back in a sing song voice, slightly giggling with Archer.

Suddenly, I heard the loud thumps of the steps, making it's way up the stairs. I panicked, as Archer quickly gathered his stuff, looking equally as alarmed.

I'm supposed to be grounded, Archer's not supposed to be here, what do I do!?! I thought to myself

"Shit, shit, shit okay hide in the closet." I directed, pointing into the little crevice of available space.

"Bleh" He made a face, but did as he was told.

"Hi sweetie." My mom's head poked into the room.
