Sting punched the brick wall of the dark alleyway in rage. It crumbled from his impact and left a gaping hole next to the twenty others he had created.

"How could this have happened?" He growled and kicked at the dumpster, creating a dent.

"Stop it Sting, you're not helping anyone or anything." Rogue groaned from behind.

He was sitting on the bare concrete and leaning against the cold bricks. Frosch climbed on top of him and curled up in his lap for warmth.

"I wanna go home." She whined.

"This stinks." Lector moped from his corner of the alleyway. "The only reason why Sabertooth threw us out was because-"

"Shut it Lector!" Sting roared. Lector turned around, clearly shocked.

Even Rogue was shocked. Sting never yelled at Lector like that. Never. Everyone stared at him in surprise.

"I'm sorry." Sting crouched down next to his best friend and took him in his arms.

"I shouldn't have yelled, I'm just frustrated."

"I know." Lector sniffed.

"What are we gonna do?" Frosch squeaked. "Frosch has never felt so cold and hungry before." Tears flowed down her cheeks.

Rogue comforted his exceed while Sting balled his fists again. "I'll tell you what we'll do."

Lector looked up at Sting. His idol. His hero. His role model.

"We're gonna show Sabertooth-" he paused to punch the wall again. "That they were wrong about us. We're not only going to defeat Gajeel and Natsu."
His eyes glowed with rage.

"But kill them."
