Going Crazy

Chapter 13

Lucy's P.O.V

It's so frustrating how he can make me feel so good but so angry and frustrated! As I'm running through the crowded streets of town, I'm trying not to trip on my heels as thoughts of Sting rush through me.

What were those blue spots on him? How come they went away when we...kissed? How many times had I kissed this guy? On the first night I met him?? Geez!

"Lucy!" I turned around, Happy was flying after me in a hurry. "You have to help me save Charle!"

"What's wrong?" I was worried, thinking maybe she was in danger or was hurt.

"You have to save her from Lector! He's going to woo her into going to the dance with him!"

I narrow my eyes. "Really?" Happy tries to pull me away. "Look, I have more important things I need to-" then I was lifted off my feet and flying through the air.

I screamed. "Happy, put me down right now!" I frantically tried to keep my dress from blowing up and showing my panties.

Happy groaned, "What do you eat Lucy? It's like I'm carrying bricks!"

"I'll rip your whiskers out, cat!"

I asked Happy about a million times where we were going, but he pretended not to hear me. Soon, we arrived at the tree Natsu had found all those embarrassing pictures of the guild at. The tree he thought treasure was buried beneath. The tree I thought he had asked me out at. The memory made me blush. That was the day I spent fantasizing of him. Why had I been so weird?!

Happy dropped me and I fell face first into the grass.

"Oops!" He mischievously chuckled.

I leapt up to my feet. "You did that on purpose! Do you have any idea how much this dress cost? If I find one grass stain on it, I'll-"

"Lucy?"

I turn around and see Erza staring at me.

"Erza?" I squint. "Why did Happy bring me here?"

Her expressionless face didn't give away much. "Natsu told me to-"

"Erza, baby!" I hear a familiar voice sing. "You look so, um...terrifyingly beautiful today!" That's when I see a pink-haired, smiling, idiot leaping from behind a tree.

Erza's eye twitches. She's obviously annoyed. "Natsu," she grit her teeth. "What are you-"

"Oh, I thought now would be the perfect time to have a romantic picnic," he drapes his arm around her and smiles evilly.

I stare all the while, confused. "So, shall we-" he breaks off with a loud grunt when Erza jabs her armored elbow into his gut.

Natsu doubles over when she smacks him in the back. He's lying on his face when she rests her foot on him. "Where is my recipe Natsu?" Her voice is full of venom and her eyes are ablaze.

Natsu mumbles something. Erza pulls his head up by his hair.

"It's here, it's here, in my pocket!" She snatched it from him and walks away furiously.

"Natsu! What the hell just happened-" I start to yell.

Happy bursts into laughter. "Erza totally pummeled him! Her nostrils were flaring before you had even touched her!"
