Going Crazy

Chapter 4

What an idiot. One comment about Sabertooth and Natsu blows up half the guild hall just because I said something to offend him.

Lucy helps him up and as she complains how heavy Natsu is, I can't help smiling. They sit together at a table. Lucy is staring at him as that pink haired idiot goes on and on about his lame excuse for state ting a fight with me.

"Are you going to continue staring at girls all day or are you going to take my hand?"

"What?" I shake my head and blink surprise at Rogue.

I take his hand, feeling slightly embarrassed and sit at a table with him. Our food was waiting there and so were our drinks we had ordered before.

I find myself staring towards Natsu and Lucy again. There's something about them that.... It's this weird feeling.

"That would be jealousy." Rogue casually murmurs and digs into his food.

"What?" I look at him. I had forgotten he could read my thoughts.

I glared at him. "Stay out of my head."

"So, what happened after Frosch and Lector and I left? You put any moves on Lucy?" He smirked.

"No!" I yell at him quickly.

That made me think back to what had happened in the alleyway. What was she doing to me? She was making me feel crazy and... And.... I had never felt that way. When she was on top of me, our eyes locked on to each others and it was the most magical experience I had ever been through.

If Natsu hadn't come, I probably would have kissed her. I realized I hadn't answered Rogue, he didn't seem to care about his question anymore though, he was too busy eating.

Frosch and Lector were talking to Carla and Happy, they seemed to be getting along well, even though Happy looked to be annoyed with the way Lector looked at Carla.

I stole a glance towards Lucy, to my surprise, she turned her head away from me quickly. She had been staring at me! A warm sensation fluttered at the bottom of my stomach. Has she been thinking about me?

Natsu catches my eye and sends me a glare. I send a wicked grin right back to him. Lucy notices our silent battle and grabs Natsu's arm before he can start another ridiculous scene because of a look I gave him.

"Sting!" Lector zooms towards me, carrying a flyer. Frosch is right on his tail.

"Look at this! There's a dance competition being held at the festival tonight!"

The flyer said it was a couples dance competition. Why was Lector so interested?

"It says there's a really big prize which goes to the lucky couple and I'm going to win tat one do sure!" He fist pumps the air.

"Frosch too!" She said behind him.

"So, are you and Frosch going together then?" I assume.

"What?" Lector gives me a blank expression.

"It's a couples dance competition. You can't get in unless you have a date, and I don't mean to burst your bubble but, I don't think they'll allow cats and you don't have a date."

Lector's tail drooped and his ears flattened. "Oh."

Frosch whimpered. "No prize? No money?"
