Traitor (An EXO, Mystery/Thriller Fan Fiction) [HIATUS]

Chapter 2

  《 Narrator 》

  An hour has passed, ever since the discovery of Lay's dead body. The police was just finished asking the EXO members all kinds of questions about Lay and soon left.

  "BREAKING NEWS! Lay, a member of the Korean Pop boy band, EXO, has been found in their dorm, dead. The police says he has been murdered, but no one knows who murdered him. The police are still under investigation."

  Suho turned the T.V off. The twelve, no, eleven members were traumatized by the murder of Lay. Who could've done this? Why did the murderer do it? No one knows why exactly.

Tao was sitting at the corner of the room, hugging his knees to his chest. He kept on thinking of the time when he was in Lay's room. The weird odor,  and the 'splash' which he thought he stepped on water, was all from Lay's body. What bothered Tao the most was the ' X ' shaped wound on his back. What was that for? Was that supposed to give a message about something? There were so many questions.

  Suddenly, the dorm phone rang. Suho, doing his job as a leader, went to pick up the phone.

  "H-Hello?" Suho's voice was shaky. He had just stopped crying.

  "Suho. I heard about the news." It was a familiar voice; the voice of the SM chairman, Lee Soo-Man. " The group and I needs to talk immediately."

  "Yes sir. What time?" Suho asked.

  "I'm coming to the dorm. Meet in EXO-M'S Dorm." Lee Soo-Man said then hanged up.

  Suho put the phone down. He turned to the EXO members to tell the news.

  "Lee Soo-Man is coming." Suho explained.

  Everyone's eyes were wide open.

  "He only talks to us if it's really important." Sehun said with watery eyes. "And since it's about Lay most likely, I-I'm pretty scared."

  "Now, now Sehun..."  Luhan comforted Sehun and hugged him. " We don't know who killed Lay... And if we find out... We will bring justice to that person!"

  Sehun smiled brightly.

  "You really think so?" Sehun asked with a bright smile.

  "Of course!"

  Just then, there was a loud knock on the door. Everyone was startled. Suho went to the door.

  "Who is it?" Suho asked.

  "It's me, Lee Soo-Man."

  As Suho opened the door for the SM Chairman, everyone became silent. Right behind the chairman was his two bodyguards.

  "Alright." Soo-Man clapped his hands together. "About Lay... I need to see his room."

  "Mianhe Mr.Soo-Man, but you can't go inside. The police are still under investigation." Xiumin said.

  "Well then, about Lay again..." Soo-Man looked down on the floor. "As you all know, Lay has been a great singer and dancer. SM Entertainment is very glad to have him. We will always remember the one and only, Zhang Yixing." 

  Just then Soo-Man smirked.

  "We have to find a new member, correct?" Soo-Man asked while smirking.

  The eleven members' eyes were wide open. They were in such great disbelief.

  "What?" Xiumin exclaimed. "You can't just replace Lay just like that!"

  "Well, apparently, I am the boss, correct? So, yes I can." Soo-Man said and pushed his glasses up.

  "But-"

  "It's best not to argue with me. I can just replace you as well."

  Xiumin kept quiet. Lee Soo-Man was right. He is the boss after all. But still, he doesn't have to replace Lay! Who could ever replace the one and only Lay? 

  "I will be holding auditions next week. Get ready to welcome a new member." Lee Soo-Man said while exiting the dorm. "And prepare yourself..."

  The door slammed. The EXO members looked at each other. What the hell is wrong with him? 

  "I have suspicions." Luhan stood up.

  "Suspicions on who killed Lay?" D.O asked.

  "Yeah." Luhan said. "I think it's Mr.Soo-Man."

  "I know right!" Xiumin said. "I feel like he killed Lay just because he wanted to replace him."

  "Someone understands!" Baekhyun exclaimed. "I feel like it's Mr.Soo-Man too!"

  "WRONG!" Kris pointed to Baekhyun. "I bet you murdered Lay!"

  Everyone looked at Baekhyun.

  "Excuse me?" Baekhyun glared at Kris. "Why would I murder Lay? I don't even have any reason to murder him!!!"

  "Maybe because you're hiding it from us." Kai said. " In my suspicions, I think you killed Lay."

  "ME?" Baekhyun was starting to raise his voice. "WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S ME WHO KILLED LAY?" 

  "Well first off, you were the only one that was sleeping. I can't say Lay was sleeping because police say he died a couple of hours ago before Tao found Lay's body." Kai explained.

  "Idiot! I was sleeping in EXO-K's dorm where my room was is located at! It's not like I was sleeping in EXO-M's dorm! Besides, I don't have the key to EXO-M's dorm!" Baekhyun yelled.

  Baekhyun was right. He wasn't even in EXO-M's dorm until when Tao found Lay's body. Also, he didn't have the key.

  "You're right, but what if you broke in?" Kai pointed out.

  "If he broke in, there should've been signs." Luhan said.

  "Right... Mianhe, Baekhyun..." Kai apologized.

  "Yeah, yeah..Whatever..." 

  "Everyone is just jumping into conclusions." Tao said. "No one is thinking about all the evidence and clues together about the killer. When we gather all the information, the we could point at whoever killed Lay."

  Everyone agreed.

  "And how are we going to find the information?" Kris asked.

  "I'm going to investigate..." Tao said. "I really want to find out who murdered Lay... It's unforgivable."

  "Can I investigate with you?" Xiumin asked.

  "Yeah, me too!" Luhan exclaimed.

  "Well, I do need some help... But not alot of help because one of you guys are possibly the murderer..."

  Everyone looked at one another. It almost seemed impossible that one of the EXO members was the murderer of Lay. 

  "I swear..." Kris said. "If one of you guys is the murderer, I'm really going to kick your ass."

Konnichiwa~ How is the story so far? In this chapter, I just wrote random things here lol... Idk. Tsk, tsk, poor Baekhyun got accused... I pity him. BUUUUUT,what if he did murder Lay? Well, you just gotta figure it out yourself!
