Traitor (An EXO, Mystery/Thriller Fan Fiction) [HIATUS]

Chapter 3

  《 Narrator 》

  With the polices' permission,  Tao, Xiumin and Luhan entered the room with yellow 'caution' tape that was once occupied by Lay. The police had set up a camera in Lay's room to make sure that no one would hide any evidence they discovered. Tao had brought a black suitcase along with him.

  Just as they settled down in the room, Xiumin asked, "What's in the suitcase Tao?"

  Tao opened the suitcase to reveal all sorts of tools for investigation.

  "It's just the tools for the investigation." Tao said. "It's very important for investigation."

  "Damn." Luhan gawked at the tools. "Where the hell did you get these?"

  "It's police property." Tao said, pointing to the white label on the outside cover of the suitcase. " Police made me borrow it. If I lose it, I have to pay for this."

  Tao took out two pairs of blue rubber gloves and put it over his hands.

  "You guys should get a pair too." Tao said, nudging the suitcase towards Luhan and Xiumin.

  Xiumin and Luhan both reached into the suitcase and took out a pair of gloves. They both put the gloves right over their hands.

  "Shall we start?" Tao asked while passing out 3 magnifying glasses.

  "Yes!"

  TIME SKIP

  For the past thirty minutes, nothing has been found. Nothing. The murderer is probably pretty clever.

  "Find anything yet?" Tao asked while still searching for evidence.

  "Nope." Luhan said, looking through the magnifying glass.

  "Same here!" Xiumin exclaimed. "It feels like we've been searching for two hours!"

  "We have to be patient." Tao didn't want to give up yet. They have to at least find just one evidence. Just one.

  "I don't know about the both of you, but I'm going outside to take a break." Luhan stood up and opened the closet door to get his jacket. As he grabbed his jacket and put it on, something fell out of the closet.  CLANG!

  It was a knife.

  "H-hey guys...I found something." Luhan said terrified.

  Xiumin and Tao came over to the spot where Luhan was standing at. They saw the knife and gasped. Tao picked up the knife and started examining it. When he turned the knife around, there was a small note attached to it. He read it out loud:

  "I guess you found it. Congratulations~♥"

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry this chapter is so short... ; - ; I was kinda like running out of idea on this chapter, and I didn't really know how to give out 'clues' on the murderer.  But you'll find out soon. Maybe like, ten chapters later xD. (Or even more)
