Chapter 6

  "Where the fuck did you put it?" Luhan cursed at Tao.

  "I swear I put it in the case!" Tao exclaimed. He was frantically looking for the evidence.

  "But I swear it's not there!" Xiumin said. "Seriously, where the hell did you put it?"

  "It was here and I know it was here." Tao said.

  "Unless someone took it." Luhan said. "Is there any signs that it has been broke into?"

  Tao closed the black suitcase and examined it. There were no signs at all.

  "Oh." Tao face palmed.  "I forgot to lock the suitcase. "

  "What? You pabo!" Xiumin exclaimed. "There's a reason why there's a lock there!"

  "Shut up, I know." Tao said, his hand on his forehead. "I just forgot."

  "Well, what about the drawer you locked it into?" Luhan asked.

  "Oh shit." Tao said. "I didn't check yet."

  Tao went outside and examined the drawer. The drawer had no signs as well. Did the person that stole the evidence have the key or something?

  "Nothing." Tao said as he went back into Luhan's room. "I guess we gotta inform Baekhyun."

  "I'll come with you." Xiumin said as he put the towel back.

  "Me too." Luhan said.

  They went outside and knocked on EXO-K's door.

  KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

  They waited for someone to open the door. Finally, after about a minute, someone opened the door. Luckily, it was Baekhyun.

  "What?" Baekhyun wondered why they were there.

  "Listen, the evidence somehow got stolen." Tao said.

  "What do you mean the 'evidence got stolen'?" Baekhyun asked. "I have it."

  The three EXO-M members looked at each other confused, then looked at Baekhyun.

  "You have it? " Xiumin asked.

  "Yeah, ever since yesterday. " Baekhyun said.

  "What? How? " Tao asked. "I never gave it to you."

  "I know." Baekhyun said. "I just took it."

  "What? You have to at least inform us!" Tao exclaimed. "I was already going berserk earlier! "

  "Mianhe..." Baekhyun bowed in apology.

  Tao sighed.

  "Where is it anyways?" Luhan asked.

  "Oh, it's here. Just come in." Baekhyun said as he opened the door for the EXO-M members.

  "Are the EXO-K members alright?" Luhan asked. "Did you check on them?"

  "They're alright." Baekhyun said. "I checked."

  Baekhyun opened the closet. Inside the closet, was clothes, and a safe, the size of those mini refrigerators you see in a hotel. Baekhyun unlocked and took out the evidence. He had the three evidence in his hands. The carpet was inside a carboard box that was underneath the safe.

  "So..." Baekhyun said. "When are we going to turn in the evidence?"

  "Right now- Well, after we get ready." Xiumin said.

  "We'll come and get you when we're done getting ready." Tao said. "See ya."

  "Bye." Baekhyun waved and closed the door.

  As they entered their dorm, they were talking about Baekhyun.

  "Do you guys really trust Baekhyun?" Xiumin asked the two other 'detectives'. "Because I don't."

  "I don't know..." Luhan said. "He took the evidence without letting us know. Isn't that a little bit suspicious?"

  "It is kinda suspicious. " Tao said. "But still, he can still be one of the suspects, but doesn't mean he is actually the murderer. He can still be innocent."

  "Right."

  The three EXO-M members started to get ready. They showered, put on their clothes, grabbed the suitcase and then left the dorm.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

  The door to EXO-K opened and Baekhyun came out ready, and had the evidence with him.

  "Ready?" Tao asked Baekhyun.

  "Yeah. Suitcase please."

  Tao unlocked the suitcase for Baekhyun and gave it to him. Baekhyun opened it and put the evidence where it should've originally been at. He then gave it back to Tao.

  "Let's go." Tao said, and they headed to the car.

  TIME SKIP

  They returned to EXO-M's dorm. Inside the dorm, the EXO-M members including the EXO-K members. Why were the EXO-K members starting to hang with in their dorm?

  "Did you guys hear?" Chen asked the four who had just entered the dorm. His voice sounded like he was worried.

  "Hear what?" Tao asked. Was it another murder?

  "Kim Youngmin." Chanyeol answered for Chen. "He's in a coma."

  The four's eyes were wide open.

  "What? How?" Luhan asked, desperate to know what happened.

  "Well..." Suho said. "It was on the news today that he was found unconscious in his room today. There were no injuries, but there was a glass cup on the floor, so the police is suspecting that he was drugged. They don't if he drugged himself or someone else drugged him."

  "What kind of drug is in his system? " Tao asked.

  "We still don't know yet. Like what I said, the police is is only suspecting. To me, it looks like he overdosed on the drug or something."

  Tao nodded. Kim Youngmin in a coma? Was this linked to Lay's death?

  "Do you know what time he was found?" Tao questioned the leader.

  "I don't remember. Watch the news." Suho said and turned on the TV.

  The TV turned on, and it was on the news channel. The news reporters was a lady and a man who was talking about Kim Youngmin. On the bottom of the screen, it read:

  "BREAKING NEWS: Kim Youngmin found unconscious in his room, who is now in a coma."

  They watched as the news reporters talked.

  "So. About Kim Youngmin." The lady began. "What time was he found? "

  "According to the police, they found his body around 6:30 in the morning." The man answered.

  Tao turned to the EXO members.

  "Did you hear that?" Tao asked. "That was the time that I found Lay's body."

  "So, what are you trying to say?" Chanyeol asked.

  "What I'm trying to say is...This incident can be linked to Lay's death."

Gah! Gotta stop it here. I was supposed to write more, but that's enough for me. I hope this chapter is okay with you guys. I'm sorry I haven't been updating. ; ^ ; I was stuck again.
