Traitor (An EXO, Mystery/Thriller Fan Fiction) [HIATUS]

Chapter 8

  "What do we do, what do we do?!?" Tao panicked.

  "Calm down!" Baekhyun exclaimed. "Don't take out the knife, he would bleed out. Call 119 Luhan." (A/N: 119 is the emergency number for the ambulance in South Korea.)

  They helped Xiumin to the bed and made him sit down.

  "Stop... it h-hurts..." Xiumin groaned in pain.

  "It's alright Xiumin..." Luhan soothed as he grabbed his cellphone and dialed 911.

  Luhan gave all the information the operator needed and sent the ambulance right after.

  TIME SKIP

  Three medics came into the room with a stretcher.

  "What happened sir?" A medic asked Tao who was at Xiumin's side.

  "While we were investigating, a knife fell on him. It seems like it was a trap for there was a note on the ground."

  "Oh really?" The medic's eyes wide open.

"You should report this to the police."

  "Well, yes, of course." Tao said.

  The medics examined Xiumin's wound.

  "Anyways it was a good choice that you left the knife there. Cause in some problems like this, people would tend to take out the knife which makes the person bleed out and may eventually lead to death."

  The 'detectives' nodded their head in understanding.

  "Anyways, we'll be taking him to the hospital to get this wound treated." The medic said. "The knife looks like it's lodged into his shoulder deeply."

  The medics proceeded to pick up Xiumin and laid him back down onto the stretcher.

  "Get well Xiumin." Tao said and waved.

  "Yeah, get well soon." Luhan smiled just to try to cheer up Xiumin.

  "Hope you get better." Baekhyun said.

  "Thanks...guys..." Xiumin said and left.

  Just then, Tao turned to Baekhyun and Luhan.

  "We have to investigate that room." Tao said.

  "But what if there's more traps hidden around there?" Baekhyun asked. "We might end up like Xiumin or even worse."

  "Then we'll be more aware." Luhan said.

  They proceeded on to the storage room. They stood in front of the room and examimed the slightly dim room from the outside. Then, Tao went ahead and slowly entered the room. He paused as he took his first step in the room, examing his surroundings to make sure that there were no traps around. Thankfully, nothing happened. Still, Tao had to be aware because you may never know.

  He took a couple of steps foward before realizing that there was a lightbulb on the ceiling. He pulled on the switch and the light brightened up the room. As he looked up on the wall there were words written on it.

  "THEY WILL PAY"

  Tao heard Baekhyun and Luhan gasp behind himself. He turned around and saw that they were still outside of the storage room, staring at the words written at the wall.

  "Take a picture of this." Tao said. "It's our next evidence."
